So I bought a 18650 Charger for my 1.9W build that I picked up here, and it came with 2 additional 18650 protected cells. I don't have a use for the 18650 protected cells because I can't use them in the Laser(draws to much power).
I realized I did not have any nice torches/flashlights...so I could put these batteries to use!

Just looking for a Light that uses two 18650 batteries, if you include some batteries with the light, cool, I'll have a extra set to put in while the first set charges...if not, thats ok too.

Let me know what you have!

Not selling it but look for a ThruNite Catapult, they're 1/2 18650 configurations and throw like freakin' crazy. They've just released their XM-L version as well, should obliterate the SST-50 version.

Spartan: Have fun -
18650 Cree Flashlights, LED Lights, Flashlight, Torch, LED Flashlight on Sale - DealExtreme

They may take 4 weeks to arrive, and they may not meet with the approval of the guys at CPF, but I've got a lot more candlepower in my gadget closet, thanks to DX, than I have things to illuminate :)

Here's an interesting note. The spell checker in chrome just noticed that DX has a spelling error in their URL. "relevence" should = "relevance". Interesting.

Alternatively I could build you a custom light using a SSC P7 LED (rated at 900 lumen). I already have everything needed and I could build it to any specs you want.

Yep, that's the one. I'd advise running it in the two 18650 configuration if you do get one, as it's brighter and you get better runtimes. Plus it's a little awkward looking with just the one 18650 tube on it. :p

It could very well be my next purchase. There are just so many torches out there I want to make sure i am getting a good one for my money. I was considering the of 35W tactical lights at first, but this one seems better. Sorry about the threadjack Spartan... but at least it is on topic :)
