I've already gotten myself a couple lasers thanks to the advice of a couple people on the forums, and in an effort to expand my collection, I'm looking for a green pointer around 100mw, or enough to do a little bit of burning. Looking for something relatively inexpensive for everyday carrying around. Also, the lasers that I've already ordered probably won't get here for another couple weeks, so if anyone has something that can get to me quickly (I'm in Connecticut), that would be awesome, because the wait is kinda killing me. Let me know if you guys have anything along these lines. Thanks in advance!

Hi Wayward,
Check out my company
Optotronics Laser Products
Right now the premium 100mw pointers in stock are averaging ~120mw.
They ship the next business day, so an order placed before 5:00pm will ship tomorrow by priority mail and get to you on Monday or Tuesday and if you select the express mail shipping for ~$10 extra, it would get to you on Saturday.

Got my first high powered laser (150mW pen) from Optotronics. Lasted me for a long time and eventually sold it.

Great stuff. Jack's legit. :)

I dont understand the relevance of this post. He is looking for a pointer, so your post is useless. When you decide to give advice here, make sure its on topic, otherwise you're wasting space.

Not everyone is looking for high powered lasers. Read his post. There is nothing in his post even hinting he wants a 400mW laser. So you're accomplishing nothing but wasting space.

Looking for something relatively inexpensive for everyday carrying around I believe the O-Like one falls into that catagory.

You call $220 for the 400mW relatively inexpensive? Plus he has to wait a month, unless he wants to pay more for express shipping.

Quit while you're ahead numb nutz. You're still wasting space with your uneducated babble. Save the advice giving to the pros.

Yeah, the O-like green laser is a little out of my price range. I was looking for something like O-like's pocket green laser (New cute pocket Green laser 100mW /adjustable [OLCGL100] - $71.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products), or even something like this: 50mW transformable green laser/adjustable/burning [OLV50] - $41.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products (I do realize that one's not 100mw, but apparently it does burn, which is something I'm looking for).
Unfortunately, I think the optotronics one is a little out of my price-range at the moment. I'm hoping someone has something lying around that they haven't used in a while that they can sell me at a discounted price.

$220 for 400mW IS inexpensive. The price to mW ratio is only 0.73(300 mW green) while a $160 95mW(overspec to 120mW?) pointer has a price to mW ratio of 1.33.

Sorry if i messed up your thread. I was only giving opinion.

Opto is the way to go. Ships from the US, and Jack backs up everything he sells.

The 400mW O-like is a terrible option. It's kind of big for pocket carry, overpowering for use without goggles, and definitely not a cheap option.

The transformable or cutie models from o-like would be decent options.

Yobresal is also running a GB for some green 100mW lasers... I'd trust his picks over even o-like.

Also while opto quality is beyond reproach imo... the lasers are kind of expensive for pocket carry. IMO pocket carry laser has to be <$150.

I have a similar "cute" from budgetgadgets. They burn at 50mw but the focus mechanism sucks and it broke after a week of using. Also heard about switch problems.
