Would there be any interest in assembled blu-ray pens?

Actually, plenty of people sell nice blu-ray pens... companies, and many members here (I don't know if I should use their names in your thread). But, $90 is a fair price, and I'm sure you might sell a few.

haha well thats news to me. Care to point me to who sells these?

pm sent. Whatever though, I don't think anyone else, aside from companies, directly sells them NEW, pre-made, rather than made-to-order.

I may be able to get you some mad sales when school starts since it's cheap, I think my friends will drop their jaw to the floor when I tell em how much my glass lens alone cost, so this will be more their range, I'll pick one up after I pay off my 3rd broken PHR, all blame on me, no one else. Pretty good mw for the price and the fact that it's the entire package :) I am sure others agree, I just want the lens to be close to the top so that it's easy to clean with a q-tip, I don't personally know what a cni looks like but I think it's near the top. I hate cleaning my greenie, to get it optimal I have to rip it apart with a vice grip.... anyways, seems like a good deal. I'll see if I can convince some fools at school for you, I was thinking about buying a bunch of true 10mw, lots of people will want them when they see them. I got my lasers on the last day of school and all 3 friends I had over were itching for a group order so I will see what I can do, just have to whip out my MXDL and show off. I don't mind rechargeables though, I hate how many AAA's I go through with my greenie. I think from a buisness standpoint though you are better off using something that runs off conventional batteries just so people don't have to buy a bunch of unwanted extras.

Before I buy another laser product I MUST buy an iPhone 3G S, I sold my 32gb touch so I have jack shit so use right now and I will be lonely without my sweet device. Give me a month or 2 and I will do I review for you.

Thanks for the good input. rep'd! I will probably end up making a few at a time with a more expensive one using a flexdrive and a cheaper one using a rckster driver.

You need a rkcstr, I have one here with one broken diode trace but the one on the back is still mint, if you want a tester. Make me a small deal and it's yours, PM me. BTW do you not have 405nm yet?

I actually have one of these. It is Jay's pen style host with a phr at 125mA and a rkcstr driver. It uses 2 10440s. Note: This host does NOT take 14500s(AA's). It takes 10440's (AAA's). It is very nice. I also prefer the rechargable batteries over AAAs so i really like mine. Ill post some pics if you want them...

Sweet thanks for the info. Knew those 10440's i ordered would come in handy one day. So this host takes AAA's then? i just assumed it took AA's from looking at jayrobs thread...

That would be awesome if you could post pics!

I don't have my cam as I am out of town but I circle where it is damaged, one of those solder traced it lifted up becuase of a small freak accident but the other side is still in tact and will work fine because both sides of the rkcstr driver supply power to the diode.

When I went to put the barrel back on my aixiz module the wires got bunched up and twisted the driver off of the diode.

Sounds good to me too! I have 2 pen blu-rays, (one is a WL Core the other a Chrome host from a LG Lyra), and both were made by john_lawson and I like them so much, I sent him parts to build 2 more w/ WL Core hosts. I also asked IgorT to build me one, (WL Core again). Yet like others, I will likly want more for pals! So, get those puppies built! Best Wishes! -Glenn

btw, I prefer those 10440's!!!

Ya well if everything goes well i will sell one version with the rckstr driver that uses 10440 batteries for around $80 and one version with the flex driver that uses AAA's for around ninety.

Thanks for all the input guys.
