I have a 450mw 523nm TechLaser that needs some work done to it.
1st, The key switch solder has come of, forcing me to put tin-foil from the lead. I would like a whole new plastic piece that the key goes into if possible.
2nd, I would like to put a new diode in it to make it as bright as it was a year ago.
3rd the "shutter" on the front has come off.. not too sure if that can be fixed. don't really care

When I fire it up, it starts out extremely bright

If their is anything else i can do to make it more powerful/last longer i would like for that to be done.

Mainly, i want it "overhauled" and in "brand new" condition. If someone is up for the task please let me know.

if thats a cni unit which it looks to be i have a new end cap for 15 bucks shipped

edit mine is the plug type not the key type

if it works dont try to put another diode this may turn into its demise -or death - i have one that needs a cmount fac right now

I think i want to take you up on that off for the end cap... do they just screw on? what do you need from me to make sure it fits?

the c mount that i have is a "neo laser" 532nm, either 500 or 1000mw i will have to check.

The diode is not the problem here, it sounds like the crystals are getting misaligned over time. The diode sounds fine.

John, can you send me pics of your end cap key assembly? i will take you up on that, i dont know if i have the c-mount you are looking for, but i will also do that trade if i do have the one you are looking for... either way i want your end cap...

ALSO I have a blu-ray laser and 3 other green. they are all "hot" to the touch i have no clue what output power they are. they were stated at 100 green, 110 green, 200 green, and 110 blu-ray...? interested in any of them?

Whomever tackles this project, please PM me and let me know how it goes, I just picked up a similar RPL-style (single 18650) from a guy locally that was bought as a 400 and was actually measured at 380 when he bought it - at any rate it sat on a hot dash for a few days and now won't put out much green so I'm assuming the glue or ??? has melted, allowing the crystals to become misaligned. I'm picking it up from him this sunday so I'll be tearing into it next week, any help someone could provide would be appreciated. (Sorry about the hijack, BTW)
