Hi, I want to start with a kit or a preassembled laser before start to build one by myself, so what can I buy with 150$? I'm thinking to buy a violet/blu or a red laser (I saw products of "burning laser" and "deal extreme")

Please give me some advice

:D

You can buy a burning 120mW violet and a matching 250mW burning red laser from Morhenberg.

yes I saw it (burning laser site), but I don't know the parameters for evalueting the quality, so I ask you :),

ok so ..burning laser, but which are the differences between blu-ray and red model? I know the nm and the mW, but for example between a 100mW laser blu and a 100mW red laser, is there one more powerful or it is the same?

A mW or milliWatt is a measure of power... 100mW of any laser is the same power on
a Laser Power Meter...

for burning....a LOC i think is better than a blu-ray PHR diode.....

you can burn more material with the blu-ray....but the red burns so much better...plus it's just plain fun to point out stuff a mile away in the dark.

ok, but in the video shown in the site the 120mW blu laser light the match faster than 250mW red, why?

I thought that the higher frequency of blu light is more powerful

Buy 1 Snuggie Blanket with a Free Book Light for $19.95 + $7.95 P&H, and receive a second Snuggie Blanket FREE *just pay an additional $7.95 P&H!

That adds up to (if my calculations are correct) 8 Snuggies for a grand total of 143.40 including shipping! How can you even think of lasers when you could have 8 Snuggies?!

But no, seriously order a red and phr from Mohrenberg. Order so many things from him that he can't keep up with you ordering so much stuff and starts to go crazy from it ;D
