Dear All!
I am looking for some Coherent Compass 115M (215M will be also accepted) SLM laser heads. I am agree to consider any similar modules from other manufacturers. My requirments: 532 nm, single longitudinal mode, 0,5-10 mW, low noise (<1%), size <=100 mm x 40 mm. Of course I would buy them used, for less. Drivers or power supplies are not necessary.
Please send me your offers.
Thanks for reading!

Keep in mind that when ordering from heruurscience, it may take several months before you receive your stuff. He is not exactly known for being an organised seller.

Sam has a very nice complete 215m that is tested SLM and does 16mW. He also usually has some Uniphase uGreen stuff lying around.
Sam's Classified Page

Or, I have a 315M-100 head tested by Sam. This one is low hours but has a intermittent second mode that is less than 2 percent of output. Of course you know that you will need a proper set of drivers to get SLM with any of these lasers.

Guys! Thanks for comments... 16 mW is too much for my purpose. Even 8-10 mW I am afraid will be too much. I need 1-5 mW. We developped our own driver for our project and be sure it's fine enough to drive any of SLM optics bodies.

Please offers!

The Coherent Compass lasers are adjustable output by a analog 0-5V input, So you can dial in whatever output you want. At which point they settle back into SLM operation after a minute or so. But the 215 has two thermo electric controllers in addition to the diode driver. Without driving the TEC's you wont get SLM operation, but will get fatal damage to the laser head. And the TEC's will have to controlled in a fairly precise manner for SLM. I think this will be the case for any DPSS SLM laser head.

Another thought for such a low power would be a HeNe. Sam should have some of those listed for sale in the Classifieds. Or maybe even a red diode would be the cheapest way to SLM. And you could go over to Holography Forum - www.www.holographyforum.org to find out what Diodes are suitable. Or ask where to find a green SLM laser maybe.
