Hi i obviously in Australia and its rather hard with our customs laws to get in high powered lasers but some do slip through the cracks ,anyone in Australia have a real 200mw or more laser for sale, I'm not after a bargain just reasonable price, if your thinking about selling let me know please ...LPM measured ideally but if your pretty sure its at least 200mW output I'm very interested thanks

You can always buy whatever power you want from JetLasers.
I believe they still guarantee delivery to Australia.

I've noticed a trend in how dragon laser managed to get my last few lasers in and I've noticed that it never gets to customs... It's like this... Lands in Sydney > checked in with courier > few hours later it's being taken to my local depo then delivery. Iv spoken to someone on and and plan to take the risk but at the end of the month I'll be ordering a bunch of lasers

Blaster--they have their ways---I think they still will send a second package if the first one does not make it to you. Email Gray and ask. MAybe get an LPF member price on a nice PL-E 532 green that start at 300mw and run up to 800mw.

No offence to anyone, But I think 'gambling' customs like that is stupid...

Even if they 'guarantee' delivery in Australia, What are the chances of it getting picked up...? Then all of your mail for the next 3 months can be opened by customs, Meaning delays in anything that comes through, Or they send you another laser, and it gets seized again? Is it really worth the risk?

It's much easier to learn how to build them and then not have to worry about it.

When it arrives into Australia it doesn't get released back to the courier until after it has passed customs inspection, Same with any other postal/courier service... I have read that you do however have less chances of items being seized if they come in via an express courier because they put there own stickers on it saying that they've been scanned.

Everything comes down to money and time ,if you get one from overseas you have to wait usually ages to get it assuming it does arrive past customs or you get one made up again its parts in and get someone to make it for you ultimately time again. Im like pay for it from a local in Australia, post by Express post the next day its in my hand thank you.. Even if i have to pay the seller a premium i would rather do that than wait 3/4 weeks hoping it might arrive ....ie you pay extra for the certainty and speed of arrival. To me its worth it buying a 100 dollar laser for say 125 dollars when i know im going to get it and really fast...so PM me offers PLEASE
