the market is flooded with ads for them- can anyone give me a reliable source for one that they have been happy with? preferably in usa - a used one from a prominent list member would work. needs to run off batteries. any info appreciated.

What are you willing to spend? If your looking US based there are some good options but they wont come cheap.

Previous experience with lasers? 200mW of green is pretty expensive and dangerous - not for the average joe.

u tell me- i am just looking the genuine article- a reliable , dependable import will work, i just don't have paypal. all suggestions appreciated

To answer your question yes its 532nm.

If you are really interested I would go for this one:
¤Titanium Laser Pointers - JetLasers

With the Duel batter extension. It looks sick.:) and you can get it in 50mW too. Or what ever you want to choose up to 250mW.

WHat is your budget though.? I suppose since you say you want a reliable & dependable laser you are willing to spend more then a low quility laser.

With a Jetlasers unit you will never regret it, probably you will get 50mW of the 5mW pen lol! ;)

btw there is a group buy happening.. just saw hakzaw1 sig.. some lasers have a smaller price there... ;)
