THE GOOD
If you look up customer service in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Jerry (AKA LaserBee). I recently bought a used LaserBee from a member ( LOL  ) here at LPF, which turned out to be damaged and in need of resurfacing and recalibration. Jerry's customer service is so good that even though I wasn't actually a customer yet he went above and beyond to give me the help that I needed. http://www.bauer-electron.com/eby/eby1wlpm.htm

Drew is a great guy to deal with. His prices are very low and he ships extremely quickly. I will be buying all of my PHR and LPC sleds from him for now on. http://modwerx.com/shop/

Heruursciences
is the guy to talk to for an amazing deal on crazy powerful IR diodes. He can also set you up with something rare or obscure like a 622nm diode or a Green 300mW TO-3.  http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1238341973/0

Rkcstr offers the fantastic Micro-Drive, available pre-set or in variable format, for a great price. He also sells very convenient Test Loads (every NOOB should get one)  that make it easy to set and measure the mA of your driver. I bought 2; one for REDS and another for BLU-RAY. His customer service is top notch; responding to email questions quickly with very clear and helpful answers. I also appreciate the LPF discount. http://rkcstr.nfshost.com/

DrLava sells the amazing Micro FlexDrive. The term micro is an extreme understatement. The V4 is a minute masterpiece of technological magic. A bit more expensive than the Micro-Drive, but it is capable of running off of a lower voltage and can put out up to 1.5A!    I absolutely love this little driver. It can be shoved into the smallest of hosts and works flawlessly. http://modwerx.com/

I have yet to buy something from Daguin, but he has been a great help to me none the less. He volunteered to be the intermediary between Jake21 and I during the incident discussed in "Resolved." *  In addition to that, his research and experimentation is a rich source information as well as an inspiration for me. We are all lucky to have him here.

THE BAD
And then there is Jake21 ( LOL  ) . For my review of "Jake the Snake" and an account of my experience with him please see the following threads:

Jake, sending me the 5 extra sleds was really more of an annoyance than a problem. It was the hassle of getting you to refund me the money to pay for the LaserBee repair... then trying to get my cash back from you for your failed 6x GB...  and then, since you never seemed to have $ in your PayPal to pay me back, getting you to actually put the 5 PHR that you agreed to give me instead into the freakin' mail that were the real problems.

if anyone ever gets the displeasure of dealing with a guy named archie nelson save your self some time and go ahead and refund his money. modwerx ships within 3 business days of receiving payment and first class mail shipping times as quoted by the P.O. is 2-5 business days. this time still hasnt passed and he has already entered a dispute against me without asking for a refund first. his communication skills leave something to be desired.

I wanted to post that I have an excellent experience working with Jayrob. He answered all my questions even the newbie ones. He is a complete professional and the quality of his work is high. Jayrob's glass lens mod, his HOT mod and other options make building your laser even easier.

Thumbs up to IgorT for a several month old trade:
A lovely 6x blu-ray which in every single way exceeds expectations. This thing is beyond brilliant! He had it shipped to me just before his major crisis, which made me feel extra lucky, and he even included a free tripod and clamp because of a tiny mistake of quoting shipping as $6 and not €6.
Very smooth to deal with, readily provides huge amounts of information and sells an A++ product.
