I'm looking for standard 12X30mm brass cases.

I found that http://www.mfgcn.com/ sells them for about $7
It looks like DealExtreme has them as well. I also see people selling them with other laser products for about $4. Is DX the best source? I'm not sure I want to go DX because they don't mention "Aixiz" and it could be completely different.

Thanks,
Matt.

DX's used to be very similar to the Aixiz ones, but according to Igort, the part that the lens nuts go in is not threaded all the way. Also, DX's (I'm not sure about now, but before) uses the non-AR coated acrylic lens, which is good for blu-ray lasers.

I've had problems with my DX modules as of late... Three I bought two months ago had LD mounts that were some 5.4mm in diameter... far too small to press in 5.6mm diodes at any rate.

Aixiz sells empty modules on ebay... http://stores.ebay.com/AixiZ-Service-and-International-LLC then search their store for "blank"... they're about $2.50 each plus shipping.

Otherwise, I hear the manufacturer that makes aixiz modules is called "saillasers" and I'm not sure, but I think you can buy directly from them.

Go to aixiz.com. You can get the from the source for $4.50 a piece, or in bulk for about $2.50. You can even get 8x13mm for $4 as well.

Just don't wait until the last minute. Order them well before you need them. Order them now. ;)

very true. This is why I can sell [link=http://hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=11]my Aixiz modules[/link], or a [link=http://hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=9]10 pack of aixiz modules[/link], because people need them so much and Aixiz is not the most reliable at shipping them when you order... I've had to wait over a month before to get an order from Aixiz.

And the sure electronics modules are a decent substitute as long as you don't mind the back end cap being about 3 mm shorter than normal aixiz end caps. They are based in China though so expect 1.5 weeks to get your item usually.

I have learned time is very valuable.
