Yeah and I'll second that A1 lasers/psuedonomen has nothing to do with the 700mW figure, nor does he (or I) recommend that you do it. It is just something I discovered when I realized the amazing efficiency of these crystals, and tried pumping them harder. To whoever buys this laser, it's a great unit and works perfectly. But, increase the voltage at your own risk.

Wow I'm really confused here, the far east comment means Texas?? that's a new one on me, of-course I've never been to Texas.

I read Jack's post and thought he was referring to DX (Deal Extreme) and maybe that scammer Susie (Standstone11) and a few others located in the far east which while I can't speak for Jack, the term "far east" means ASIA.  I'm not sure what their teaching in the Colleges of Texas, but maybe this will help;

I bought 2 RPL's from Optotronics because Jack is one heck of a guy, along with many accessories; why do I keep going back to Optotronics when I might be able to "save" a buck elsewhere?? look at what happened when I trusted Susie  :-[

Optotronics gives you a full 1 Year warranty, UPGRADE privileges, did I say "privilege"?? why yes I did, how many other Laser companies out there do that??? AND is located in the USA?

hey Jack no disrespect was intended on that post i love your products and when a problem occured you fixed it  it took a while but you had to send it back to china understandable  would i pay more for better service heck yea
do i want a cheaper laser hell yea can i have both probibly not ..

i will problibly buy either your 50 lab or your  mid powered blue 473 portable depending on my bonus size this year  infact Jack if i had another kid

I have an OPTOTRONICS UNIT. It isn't one of these HIGH POWERED units talked about in the above entries & I seriously need to get off my a** & do a complete review of the performance of said unit, but I CAN say that it is BY FAR THE BEST green laser I have ever had, & that dealing with Jack at OPTOTRONICS has been THE MOST PLEASURABLE, COURTEOUS, & HONEST business transaction that it has been my extreme pleasure to be a part of ;) rob/phoenix77 :cool:

electron, would you please actually read my post before you start throwing around insults? I already covered that in my post...

To recap though, its clear that: "You of all people should know there are major differences between the RPL and the generic viasho units like the promethius and others being offered by many 3rd party resellers in far east."
is clearly meant to put down my products, hence my comment: "I know you didn't exactly say all your post referred to my Prometheus products (afterall, DFW may be east Texas, but I'd hardly call it the far east), but we know the implication."

:eek: That is over twice the output of an overpowered X125 and only twice the price!  :eek: And this is a flashlight style!

This is an amazing deal for both items.
