*****SOLD***** I am offering this super 638nm RED laser made for me by Blord (originally $275 with NO batteries). This laser uses 14500 LiIon batteries. I am selling it simply because it has been sitting in my dresser drawer along with all the other lasers I had good intentions of using, but never found the time. This laser was originally tested by Blord and the high was 1051mW and low was 341mW. You will receive the following items:

Laser 638nm
Three (3) AW LiIon 14500 Batteries
UltraFire Charger

(1) PACKAGING, SHIPPING & INSURANCE will be at "NO CHARGE" to the buyer as long as the package is shipped to the Continental United States (Lower 48). (Exact postal charges will apply elsewhere.)
(2) Paypal, USPS Money Order, or Personal/Business Check (may be held for clearance).
(3) Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a question or need some assistance. We will do our best to respond within 24 hours or sooner.

Thank you for considering this item!

If you would like to know more about us, please look up MacWizardUSA on eBay. You will find we have 1511 100% different positive feedbacks starting in early 2000. Deal with confidence. We will stand behind each and everything we sell. Your total satisfaction is our goal.

Re: One Watt 638nm Laser (Mfr. Blord) w/Batteries & Charger $235

I have one of these and can attest to their performance and quality. the build appears first rate although I have not seen inside. but if blord does such a good job on the outside, i am sure its great on the inside. the laser performs at least at 1W measured on my ophir meter. its a great laser but the beam is quite divergent on the fast axis. its just the way the laser diode is. the price is good too. you get 3 quality AW batteries and a decent charger. good luck.

Could you please take a photo with todays date and your LPF user name on a piece of paper next to the working laser. I realise you have the dates in the photos above, but these can be easily photo shopped in.

Sorry, but there have been a few scams lately and it might help convince potential buyers that the laser is currently in good working order. Also if you have an LPM it might be an idea to confirm the output.

Good luck with the sale:beer:

I would be interested, however a low of 341mw leads me to believe it has run deep into and over its duty cycle recommendations

A LPM graph /video or just a plain dated picture of its LPM test would need to be done to be sure.

Sorry I don't want to derail the sale....but you can understand my concern over almost700mw swing..

Im sure he means Blord has used a multimode driver. I built something similar with a Mits 500 and an AMC driver. Mine does 1015 mW at full power and 380 mW at med power.

OK then that would make sense. OP are you able to test output???
multi mode is a big deal - describing the unit.

Wow that dot looks strange... is that what 638nm dots look like?

This little laser has dual settings like the flashlight originally. Also, you must hold the button down for a second before the laser fires.

^^^ Actually I think you havent focused it all the way. If you partially focus it you get a square dot like that, but if you continue to focus further, you get a much longer fast axis and shorter slow axis. Ie it will be a narrower, longer line.

Thats the mits 500 (and 300) for you, but it is a beautifully coloured beam! ;) You could also buy one of Lazeerers Red correction optics for it which will improve the beam profile somewhat at the expense of power. IIRC mine drops from 1015 to around 700 mW but the beam is much better. I believe he calls it the 638C lens?

Probably not and I do NOT have a camera that can take decent pictures. For that, I do apologize.

Sorry, no matter what I do I am locked out from adding another photo. I have used Chrome, Safari and Firefox to no avail. Another add will be posted for a 532nm laser from Optotronics and it will have what you desire.
