Re: FS: Two "one-off" - 445nm lasers, 720mW & 1,025mW - $100 each

To clarify - the beams look purple. That's just my cell phone's way of rendering blue laser beams for some reason. These ARE 445nm (blue) not 405nm (violet)

Very well done thread. Good deals both- super photos- should be gone quick.

however , not to be a nit-picker but are they not 'One Ofs" as in 'One OF a Kind' and not One-offs? like in "knock-Offs"

Plz consider this a bump rather than criticism.

Thanks for the clarification I was gonna PM you... Need a 405nm~ for my collection and @ 720mW that would be a great deal.

I have two 445's already though, so next one has to be over 2W or hopefully even higher:eg:

Great deal though.

Question: Is the 700mW in the Rayfoss host still waterproof?

Would that 405 fit an 18650?

Oh, I assumed it was because it was only 720mW.... Sorry.

Fail on my part!

Lol. They're both 445 :)

No typo. I'm cool with selling them for that. Otherwise they're just extras sitting around here ;)

Should be waterproof, yep. Want me to go test?

What are the dimensions of Laser 1? Would be nice to have a small 1W... and considering it runs off of one cr123 I hope it's small:)

Also what kind of duty cycle would you advise? What kind of heatsink does it use (I assume aluminum)?

Laser 1 is pretty small. Its not jayrob cr2 small, but its about the length of a hotlight, but maybe 1/3rd the thickness. It's kind of like the size of a Crayola marker.

Oh, heatsink is the host itself. It was originally a 532 host, so it fit an aixiz module with just a few wraps of copper film to make the fit snug.

You should post a pic of it compared to another common host. Like a hotlight or guidesman or something.
