I really would like to hold onto this baby, but I need to pay for school plus a couple of new monitors for my desktop. Up for sale here is a 400mW rated CNI PGL-III-C ordered through Glenn's CNI GB #11. At the peak of its life, this thing could pump out well over 700mW of green, but it appears something happened while it was stored away.

When I took it back out a couple weeks ago from its storage case (a custom-cut foam Pelican case), there was a bit of spray out from one side of the beam. I attempted to fix this, but it appears I may have just made the issue worse, because there may be a bit of glue on the IR filter now, causing even more spatter off the beam. You can see what I mean in the second picture. I believe it could probably be restored to what it was before, which was around 350mW avg (400mW max). Unfortunately, those power rating are almost cut in half after my "fix." So I'm lowering the price accordingly. This could probably be a match burning 500-600mW laser again with a bit of expert work, so hopefully it becomes a bit of a steal for someone here.

Best offer for the laser itself, plus shipping on top of that (if you want better shipping, just ask and you can pay for it). Shipping can be through UPS, FedEx, Purolator, or Canada Post. PM me for shipping location if you're interested, and for PayPal address if you're willing to buy. I'll eat the PP fees.
[EDIT: Best offer now, forget the $300.]

LPM reading (Kenometer Pro)
Beam pattern
The laser itself, along with accessories

If you need any 18650s, I can package one or two 2600mAh AWs for $5/ea.

EDIT: More lasers for sale.

473nm? Where's?

In his signature. Opportunistic offer for a last that wasn't even up for sale yet.

How did you try to fix the spattering and get glue on the filter?

Edit: that beam also looks like is exiting the aperture at an angle, is it or am I seeing things?

Since there seems to be so much interest in the 473, and I'd be willing to sell it as well, I'll just post all the info in this thread proper.

No beam pics this time, but I do have the LPM reading, and the beam is still as perfect as the day I got it. No spatter, beautiful light blue beam. LPM'd at 141mW avg and 158mW max about an hour ago now. I originally bought it a little more than a year ago from another member on the forum. That was sold at $780 for what he said was a 100mW 473, so despite its aging, I'd still be looking for $800 USD for it if possible, not including shipping.

LPM reading, Kenometer Pro

I'll put my 589 up as well. Unfortunately, it's dead at this point, but I don't know why. It hasn't had any shocks, as it's been stored in the same custom foam case as the 532 was. So it's possible it's a simple fix, but it may be something more complicated. I'd be hoping to get $150 or so for it given it is a 589, but best offer on it.

Jedi -

I'm in Halifax. I'd offer you $100 for the dead 589. You could ship it with the cheapest/simplest CanadaPost service to Halifax, and I can shoot that over to you via PP tonight. Let me know if interested.

I had thought that perhaps the collimating lens was bouncing some of the light as it was off-center. The adhesive doesn't flex all that well though, so I ended having to take it off and stick it back on with superglue. That went fine. Then it looked like the IR filter beneath might've been off centre as well. That ended up coming loose as well, so I had to stick it back on. That's where it ended up sticking to my finger. I let it soak in warm water for about 10 minutes, and it took most of it off, but not all. Both it and the lens have been superglued in place at this point.

I'd be willing to do that. Don't send the money tonight though, I'd like to make sure I have a box for it first, which I'll get at work tomorrow (we go through a lot of boxes from parts shipped to us), and that'll let anyone else have a go at it. If no one else has come forward by 5PM EST (6PM local for you), you can have it. I'll PM you tomorrow about it.

Yes you did actually, by about a minute. Sorry rhd, lazeerer is offering the same price, and he did beat you. He's got first dibs on it.

Lol, so PM wins over open forum? Ok....

Then I'll say $125. And lets keep it out in plain sight ;)

It may, but he actually sent his PM a minute before your post in this thread. And $125 gives dibs to rhd. lazeerer, your PM is nullified. :gun:
