Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

Hey - Lazeerer, if you want to go above $125, it's yours. That's sort of at the threshold where the benefit of having a spare on hand for potential repairs to mine is outweighed by the price tag.

Also, the intention of my offer was to get something underway tonight. I wasn't putting a bid in on an auction that was going to be open for a day etc. So that's my offer - $125 shipped - for a purchase now. If Lazeerer wants to go higher, it's his. Or if you want this to be an "auction" style thing that runs for a day, then consider my $125 off the table. I was really just intending to put in a "buy it now" type of offer.

Sorry, it wasn't my intention for it to be an auction type sale, so I'm sorry if that's what it felt like. rhd, it's yours. I'll PM you my PP address (I'll eat any fees), and you can send me your mailing address. I have one box here that'll work well for a PGL-III-C, so I'll get an estimate together and we can close tonight. It'll then go out tomorrow afternoon via CP.

Well, he's offering $25 more, and when you're paying $5000 in tuition fees, plus planning for another $1000 or so in computer monitors, you need all you can get. I've got some other stuff that'll be going on sale soon, so I'll give you a better chance next time.

Awesome / perfect / cool. Lazeerer - you down with that? If you want to offer him above $125, seriously, it's yours, no hurt feelings :)

But I'm also super happy about grabbing this for $125.

Ill grab the 473 for $500 :)

Sorry, I've already got a better offer. I'm holding out on him until Friday in case anyone's willing to pay the asking price. Otherwise, I'll take the best offer (currently $670).

With the laser? Will be the laser itself, plus an interlock and set of two keys. I can also throw in one or two 18650s if you need them for $5/ea. They'll be fully charged 2600mAh AWs.

Is there a delay on the emission?

Yes, it has the standard 5-point safety.

1) Interlock
2) Keyed switch
3) Aperture cap and shutter
4) 5 second delay
5) Opposite colour LED that can be seen through laser goggles

Also, the laser itself even after it's turned on takes a minute or two to warm up and produce full power. The graph reading was taken after 45 seconds or so.

I still have this 'theory' (shared with Qumefox) that 589s 'absorb moisture' while in storage and die silent deaths.

Makes me nervous to see this happen to a PGL-III-C...

Wondering if anyone else has had a 589 die in storage. I had a GLP-589 go that way.

Store them in rice? But could this seriously happen? Or is it just that the die is super degradable?
