I have a single 635nm <5mw laser up for sale. I don't have to recreate the wheel here so please take a look at this thread first:
http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/picked-up-some-635-lasers-off-e-bay-65785.html

There are more images in that thread and a better description there.

This is the last of the bunch and unfortunately it's also nearly the worst quality. I don't want anyone to be disappointed in this, so make sure you understand that this laser has been well used.

It has some small nicks in the paint and some sticker residue on it. It also has a good deal of splash that the better units did not have.

This is the one I termed a C grade in the other thread. Interesting enough the semi circle disappeared after changing the included set of "copper tops", for one of the other set's of industrial Duracells that came with the other lasers.

I am including the C batteries and the case with this laser. I was originally offering a shipping break if you didn't want the case, but that has just proved more confusing then I feel like dealing with. The case is in good shape with no cracks. Only some writing on it.

The other lasers were metered by members at 3.0 and 3.5mw. It still has a nice bright beam for what it is, but it is a pointer, not a burner and this one seems slightly less bright. (It may just be that some of the power is being "wasted" in the splash.)

Since I don't think the quality is as up to par on this one, I'd really rather sell it to an "experienced" member here who fully understands that and not have a disappointed new member getting one of their first lasers.

In other words, I may refuse to sell to you. I don't want to sound rude or like a laser snob, it's just I'm more comfortable with someone that I know understands this and won't be disappointed in what they get.

If you are concerned about this, send me a PM and we can talk. You never know I might change my mind. :)

On to the good stuff, these are the photo's of the actual unit you will be getting:

As I said in the other thread, I'm not trying to get rich selling these things. I got what I wanted, which was a couple of 635 lasers and I got a heck of a deal on them so this one is going cheap.

I"m looking for a total of $25.50 via PayPal for this, shipped in a medium flat rate priority box anywhere in CONUS. I will consider shipping to Canada but please PM me first so I can work out shipping costs with you.

PRICE DROP: $20.00 shipped in CONUS with case.

Re: FS: 635nm <5mw in unusual LARGE host.

For anyone looking to get their first 635nm laser... this is a great option.

Plus it's also an antique as lasers go:)

No one wants a 635nm for fairly low cost? Maybe I was a little overdescriptive of it's condition.

It still works very well. :). Maybe it's not pretty, but it's an unusual host.

I guess offer the shipping option to just regular small priority box without case?

I don't get it though, it's a great price to try out another wavelength. If I didn't already have one I'd take one more.

Re: FS: 635nm <5mw in unusual LARGE host.

I do hate that I can't fit them in the small flat rate boxes with the cases. It's only about 1/4" too big, but that's enough to not get it to close. Not to mention no protection at all for the case.

OK folks, if you absolutely don't want to pay $5.50 more for the plastic case, I"ll offer the same deal I did the other folks that showed interest in the other thread.

With the case: $25.50
No case: $20.00

If you opt for no case, I'll through in the foam insert with that the laser and batteries fit in as well. I can always throw the case away. (Although I *hate* throwing anything away)

In going in for some outpatient surgery next Thursday and would like to have this shipped and delivered before then, so I don't have to worry about it.

Price Drop:

Until Weds the 24th at 8:00 AM (Eastern) I'll let this go for $20.00 shipped with a case via priority mail to the CONUS. I'm also removing my previous restriction about being an established member.

At this point I am taking a loss on this, but I'd rather someone else get to own a cheap 635nm laser then to hold on to another one of these.
