$330 shipped and insured USA only

450mw 405nm 8x blu ray Laser in excellent condition (silver laser in the picture)
(Ehgemus host with jayrob high efficiency lense, 3 PROTECTED RCR123A batteries, easy focus adapter, built by yobrasel recently)

Thowing in the following for free:
30 - 50mw 405nm violet pen laser (yobrasel was not sure of the power)
2 pair 405nm goggles (bought from scopeguy20)

The 450mw laser is a very nice laser with low time on it. I put about 5 or 6 minutes on it since I bought it a week ago (max of 15 seconds on before letting it cool down but most of the time only on for 5 seconds). It was just purchased from a very good builder on this forum (yobrasel). Throwing in the free pen laser that yobrasel sent me. Also throwing in 2 pair of 405nm goggles (picture only shows 1).

It is too much power for me :). With having the family life I am afraid of leaving it out and my 4 and 2yr old (and another on the way) getting a hold of it. Just too risky for my lifestyle.

This thing is very powerful and burns within a second. You can actually slowly cut through white paper with this thing.

Putting it up for $330 shipped/insured in the US.

I am new here but I have plenty of positive feedback on RunRyder RC Helicopter - Home (helicopter discussion forum). Feel free to contact me there to verify that it is me.

You can see yobrasel's description of this laser at the link below. He mentioned to me that this might be one of his best builds. He has more pics of it too.

No international shipping? If the price drop a lil bit, I´m in and there is no need for this blu-ray pen, I have enough of them :)

Re: 450mw 8x blu ray Ehgemus (plus extras)

Thanks for the interest but I am sorry. I am not comfortable with shipping outside the US because of customs. The one time I shipped something even just to Canada I had problems where the package took 3 weeks to arrive and that was a simple rc helicopter part. I wouldn't want to deal with trying to get this through customs safely and frankly don't know all the risks involved with doing so. Not to mention the increased shipping cost but that is not as big of a deal as customs.

For a "noname" it is still difficult to sell things here...

This is almost exactly what I was looking for when I joined this forum. Basically been debating whether to try a DIY kit or buy a high powered pointer. I think at this price, I am sold. It even includes the eye protection I was just about to buy. I'll take it. PM to follow. :san:

Yeah seriously, this is a nice buy! It is powerful yet it is still set conservatively. If it should even fail you in the future I will repair it at the cost of parts.

Re: 450mw 8x blu ray Ehgemus (plus extras) SOLD PENDING FUNDS

Payment received. Laser is now sold.

Thanks yobrasel for offering that to him too. The laser works great though.

This is one fine looking and powerful laser. Honestly I feel privileged to have even owned it for a week or two. Burning white paper was the most fun to me even though I only did it a few times.

I really liked the extra 405nm laser too. It seems to be a nice laser on it's own as far as beam divergence, brightness, and looks. It doesn't compare to the 450mw burner though :).

Thank you very much. I appreciate the offer. I had already saved your original sales post to my bookmarks.

Really looking forward to trying it out! And no kids to worry about. :)

Doh. Don't have a charger for RCR123A's . I'm finding 3.0V and 3.6V cells. Which one does this have? I'll buy a couple extra batteries. Any good recommendations for chargers? Tried doing a search on this site, but didn't find much.
