Ok yet another item for sale. On here in the past I've successfully sold a 1.5w 445nm laser, a pair of flexdrives, and a massive 3amp test load, all 3 items to 3 separate people. I say this so people know I actually have the items I post for sale and I'm not some scammer.
Ok today im selling my Fully Focusable Blue Hotlights 405nm (Est.UsingDTRs-LPM-BeforeShipmentToMe) 500mW+ Laser, including a Black Carrying Case and a Brand New UltraFire 22600 2500mAh Battery. This laser has probably been turned on for a total of maybe 6 minutes, its almost never been used as I mostly played with my other lasers. The diode it uses is the 700mW 12X 405nm S06J BluRay diode. As stated by DTR this is the most powerful 405 diode available and it is not the lower efficiency more sensitive 12X diode from the SF-BW512L sleds that are prone to sudden deaths when run over 420mA. When driven @ 500mA you can expect ~770mW with a G-2 lens and ~570mW with a three element 405 AR coated glass lens but the diodes efficiency will vary a little and some have been seen to hit as high as 850mW with a G-2 being driven @ 500mA.
To Laser Newbie's this is a very very powerful laser and cause serious eye damage if not used with care and preferably laser safety glasses. This isnt your average laser pointer. Your average laser pointer obviously cant burn and puts out maybe 5mW of power, this laser as its currently set at a lower setting already puts out 500mW of power! That is over 100 times more powerful than your average laser pointer, and its BLUE!
As for Laser Burning. This is a absolutely amazing burner. The 405nm color spectrum by far is the best for burning and this is the most power 405nm laser diode you can buy. It can pop balloons at a hell of a distance, light matches, light cigarettes, burn the black electrical tape cutting it in half, burn threw many hard plastic cd/dvd cases in a row, scribe/burn wood, you name it this is one hell of a burner thats why I say you need to use caution when using it as it really can damage your eyes if you catch a reflection from the beam or shine it in your eye by mistake. Not only is this laser a burner but its one hell of a beautiful fully visible laser beam as well. You can see the full beautiful laser beam threw out the air all the way to the target without needing to use any type of fog or mist or smoke, none of those tricks are needed, its not like you just see the laser point on the wall, you see the whole beam.
