Most of you here are familiar with the SH-032 hosts, as it is one of the more common hosts built by LPF members, and probably the reason for that is that it's such a great looking host.

This laser was built with an A140 diode, X-Drive set to 1.8A, aluminum heatsink and a custom focus adapter. It is offered for sale as either with either a G2 lense or 3 element Aixiz lense, and runs off of two 18350 batteries.

With the G2 this laser peaks at nearly 2.2 Watts, then settles in at a comfortable 2 Watts. With the 3 element Aixiz it peaks at 1747mW then settles in at 1650mW.

Buyer must own appropriate safety glasses, be over 18 years old, and underrstand and practice laser safety.

Actually, you replied frst and have already bought a laser from me, so I PM'd him to tell him that I thought you werre going to take it, but I had another SH-032 host and heatsink ready to build and if he wanted it I'd build it over the weekend.

To the buyer who doesn't get this laser PM me. I have the exact same laser with the exact same output. I normally wouldn't dream of posting something like this in someone else's sales thread but seeing as how there are 2 buyers for 1 lasers I do not see it being a problem.

No problem Luke, and I'll vouch that yobresal is a great guy to do business with for any perspective buyers.

Then again, I think that anyone that's been on LPF for more than a day or 2already knows that. :)

I was surprised to see this thread in the BST section when I did. I had just finalized my build, took photos and tests and was going to post it and then you had posted this one right before I was about to post mine. Same host, same output power. Different driver, current, and batteries but damned close enough to an identical build. I figured I would wait till yours sold before posting mine.

Thanks, and much appreciated. Have you tried Angelo's X-Drives yet. Their awesome and have become my driver of choice for any built I can use them in.

I saw your post as well, and yes the are nearly identical, although if you werre to bump the current up to around 1.7A yours would probably hit damn near 2.5W with the G1 or G2.

Yeah I am considering bumping the current up but then the duty cycle will get pushed down a bit. 2W was kind of the goal and I managed to hit it at 1.6A so I may just leave it there. I haven't tried the X-driver yet. I will have to give it a go in one of my next builds.

The adjustable pot versions are very easy ti set, run nice and cool and working with them is a snap. I think you'll really like them.

I've got a couple fixed at 1.8A. If you don't have eny and want to try one, shoot me a PM with your shipping info and I'll drop one in the mail to you.

Sonehow I was thinking your SH-032 was set atr 1.4A, so yeah bumping it up from 1.6A wouldn't get a massive increase in power and may not be worth the reduced runtime.

That would be great! I would love to add a new driver to my tools.The laser was doing 1.4W at 1.3A with a 3 element glass lens. I then bumped it up to around 1.6A (calculated not measured) and got 1650 with the 3 element.
By the way.....who ended up buying this laser?

I thought I saw that it was set to 1.4A. :) Still a very efficient diode though! I think I've only had 2 diodes that were over 100% efficient, and one of them is in a Trustfire F23 set at 1.1A and outputting 1.35W.

You should probably have it Monday or Tuesday.

The Sh-032 is going to positive. I just steered another member your way though, who is looking for 3 lasers similar to the Trustfire F22 or SH-032.

Yeah he made me an offer to buy all 3 of the lasers I currently have finished but have yet to post. I made a counter offer so they may all 3 be gone.
Yeah this is a really efficient diode. I always enjoy finding those.
