It's that time again; gotta sell something to get some extra cash, and now it's this guy's turn...

For sale is my DHOM "150mW" rated 473nm labby. Ive had this for over a year and a half, and it did get it's fair share of use, I estimate 25-35 hours on it. It was used in a number of chemistry and physics, lectures and labs at my school.

Yes, you read the title right, 473nm, the really nice looking turquoise blue, not that (IMO) ugly 445nm blue.

I decided to make one long run for a graph, the first curve is IR filtered, and the second is with the optics taken off the head. Note I am salvaging the IR filter that I put in this for my own use, you will receive it without the filter.

Laser does about 230mW filtered, and 270mW not.

This laser accepts 100-260Vin, is TTL modulated, as well as power can be tuned down.

Note there are four holes on each part (head and PSU) for mounting, they are a bit scratched from use.

--Bottom line--

Asking price: $500

This better be worth selling ._.

If I wasn't investing in other things, I'd be all over this. Good luck with the sale, this is an outstanding unit.

Re: FS: 200mW 473nm Labby

This unit looks great and I agree that 473 is much better looking than 445. I would have maybe jumped on this opportunity if I didn't already just get a new 473 handheld in the mail the other day. I am really liking this color and would suggest adding this wavelength to your collection if you don't already have it. Good luck on the sale, hopefully this finds a nice home.

I'm loving that dial-knob. Is that like a 10-turn gear reduction thingy? It looks like it may provide some slick functionality. Too bad she's TTL. I'm look for one in Analog. Any idea what it would cost me for an analog driver?

Re: FS: 200mW 473nm Labby

Thanks for the interest guys!

@DrZoidberg what 473nm are you getting? just curious :)

@pschlosser Not so sure what you mean, but as far as the knob is concerned it goes until the short hand hits the 11 mark, smooth flow all throughout.

I have no idea what an analog driver would cost at it's cheapest, however from the same site I bought the laser from, the analog PSU costs $110...

BTW FYI
Techood at ebay sells cheap IR filters--tiny but big enough to use- just take extra care to not get any glue in the middle of the filter & , of course, NEVER use superglue around ANY optics EVER.

I'm pretty sure that's where I bought my filter from.

Do what hak says and avoid superglue, you should see what it does to a 532... not pretty!

Re: FS: 200mW 473nm Labby

I actually got a http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/80mw-473nm-handheld-laser-lasever-72263.html (the link from your signature). It is supposed to be 80mw, but I don't have an LPM to measure it... I should really buy an LPM before another expensive laser...

I'm on three purchases from them, so far all came in overspec. I'm sure someone would be happy to LPM it for you too ;)

I'm sure I could find someone to LPM it, I'll have to look at the member map and see if anyone I would be near while traveling has one
