I was tinkering today to familiarize myself with some of the new stuff I have.
I also built this to get an idea of what I'd be working with as I'm deciding on whether to make more (I probably will)
Now I have this "Just Add Diode" kit that needs a home.

This is the "XML-T6" host which is left over from ZeroLasers. So it has their logo on it's tailcap.
This is a 2x26650 host, but comes with spacers to use 2x18650 if you'd like.

It has a BlitzBuck V5 driver preset at 2.4A and has a custom 2 piece heat sink made for a 9mm diode.
I can also swap the heat sink out for a 5.6mm heat sink, or one made to fit a 12mm module.

Looking for $50 shipped in the USA.

All that's needed to finish this build is DTR's 9mm NDB7875 diode: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/9mm-445nm
And DTR's G-2 lense: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/glass-lenses

So for a total cost of $140 you'd have a 3W 445nm.

Guess I should add a photo of the driver installed.
It has a finned aluminum heat sink on the driver.

See PM. Would like to see the driver installed if it's different than the standard ones I've built.

Sold pending payment.

I can get picture or the driver installed when I return home.
I would tell the wife to take pictures, but I don't want her messing with it lol.

Ben is helping me with a new 3A driver as well.
If the demand is there, I'll probably have "JAD" kits in many different hosts.

I've hit up Benmwv on Facebook and he's helping me get a new buck driver hammered out.

They will be eventually. First I have to get enough money to buy a lot, to get them cheap, to be able to mark them up for profit and still have them reasonably priced....like for $20. :p

Re: 2.4A "Just add diode" kit

Hi Mo,
I have the same hosts 2 of them and Rick Trent sells full copper sinks for it . They screw into the host. There massive and you can run the NDB 7A75 diode it to give you 5+ w output with basically a high duty cycle. Hey you sinks for this host is cool it looks like the sinks I use in my mag light 2-Dcell mods.
Oh and those copper sinks take a 20mm round battery or driver board.

Did you receive payment? I've currently got one of Rick Trent's with an NDB7A75 that I watched hit 6.05 watts on his Ophir LPM. I love these hosts.

Re: 2.4A "Just add diode" kit

Should be in the mail along with a couple things from his shop (Budgetbeams).
Here's the one I already own that is a Rick Trent 9mm and I happen to have a spare tail cap with switch:

Nice. I like the blue switch. Is yours the NDB7A75? The power is insane on mine, but I really want to focus the beam better. I'm just now starting to explore beam expanders. Do you know of any that will work with these hosts?

No, mine was made before they were out. Don't know of any BX that will fit it.
It originally had a green switch cap I believe but I changed it out. My spare has a green switch cap.

Yep, mine has the green switch cap. I like it, but I would also like the blue. Where'd you get the blue one?

Its as simple as replacing the rubber "boot" on the switch. Usually it's pretty easy to get the switch out of the tailcap, and you can buy replacements online most places- they are usually called silicone switch covers or something close. Also, if you cut the little nub off the cover (you will see what I mean if you take it out), they make excellent dust covers that fit right over the normal aixiz focusing ring :)
