Up for grabs : Brand new (about 20-25mins total time on the diode) IgorT-built 6x Blu Ray 405nm laser in the gorgeous Romisen grey aluminum host. Power is set to 190mW, +/- a few mW.
Now... let me explain WHY my IgorT 6x is for sale. I LOVE THIS LASER. The beam is highly visible and it smokes anything you put in front of it. Wood, plastic, paper, etc... matches and balloons aren't even challenging.
When I ordered the laser from IgorT in Jan09 I wasn't sure I wanted to get back in to the laser hobby - it had been YEARS since I had built one. So, I placed the order and waited. It took a good amount of time, but it finally arrived! After playing with it this weekend I know for sure... I'm thrilled to be back in this hobby and I wanna hang around for awhile.
So why sell? Simple. I'm a DIY kind of guy. My biggest disappointment with my IgorT laser is that I didn't build it! I'm DYING to build my own 405nm! So... to fund the project I'll pass my new IgorT 6X on to someone else and begin ordering the parts I need for a 405nm build of my own. Works for me since someone who isn't a DIY'er will get a great laser, and I'll have the money to play/fund my new(ish) hobby without sinking more in.
The Details:
This laser is sitting in it's box, just as it was packed from Igor. It will include everything IgorT sends:
• The Laser, 405nm 6x Blu Ray @ 190mW
• Grey Aluminum Romisen host with Igor's custom driver/heatsink
• 2 x 14500 AA Protected TrustFire Batteries
• Multiple glow-in-the-dark tail caps

Optional parts (if you don't feel like waiting for a Deal Extreme order to arrive):

I don't mind selling the charger/batteries/tripod with the 6x laser since I am going to have to place a new order with them anyway for whatever host I choose, as well as a few other things I will need.

DISCLOSURE - IMPORTANT:
I absolutely will NOT sell this laser to someone who is already in Batch #3 - so no pulling out of your order to buy this one instead, UNLESS you talk to Igor and he says "Go ahead". I tried to email Igor and make sure this sale was OK with him, but I got his auto-responder. If he objects, I will remove the laser for sale out of respect for him. I have NO intention of making a cent on this transaction... everything is priced at exactly what I paid for it. I will actually lose a few bucks due to PayPal fees.
