The module was a 200mW green,

Here is an LPM with fresh Rayovac batteries:

I recommend Duracell or Energizer batteries for this laser,
You may get a couple extra mW out of it with them.
You could also use 1 10440 with a spacer. (Not included)

Temp0 for the most part.
If the laser is cold when you turn it on it will have some wings,
but they quickly go away.
If the laser gets too hot, sometimes it will start producing 2 dots.

The laser module is a little large for the pen host, it sticks out the front a little.
But the color matches, so it still looks good.

If you need a pair of safety glasses, I can sell you a pair of these:

For an extra $12

Does it have a button? It looks in the last picture that it is missing the button that sticks on top of the plastic sleeve around the driver.

Nice little laser.

It totally reminds me of Freddy the Flute!

I'm sure most of you kids are way too young to get the reference.

Ya it has a button, but the button is slightly recessed.
Still easy to turn it on.

I have no idea what Freddy the Flute is, lol

Is the button attatched in the last picture? It doesn't look like it it there at all. I have the same kit and the littl black plastic button sticks up past the opening. Yours looks what mine looked like before I installed the button. Did you take the picture before you put it on?

I added heatsinking to the driver, and the stock mounting bracket didn't fit,
So I made my own, which has the button sitting a little lower.
