The stainless host costs me another $10. Plus its hard material and a real pita to machine and then polish.

Yeah, I figured as much.

DX does have an all-silver AL host as well, but already owning the stainless, I must say that it is stunning, particularly at that price-point!

So, $105 is it? Assuming you haven't already stock-piled said host, can we suggest a rounder figure (say, $100...) on account of the drop in DX's price to $19? That makes it now, what... $6 more than the ol' RC-A2 host :cool:

Btw, I've got a RayFoss 150mW module on the way to Vienna & no host to put it in... :p ;)

Oh hey, I was really trying desperately to hold back from buying any more laser gear, but after seeing this I don't think I can resist I might just buy the host and have to wait to get the module lol. Could I just ask a few questions,

Its 95$ for the full stainless steel polished host?

How simple is it to get all the module fitted into the host etc?
