Hi,
Some of you may have followed the most recent group buy from Lasersman....there were a couple of us who bought the 500mw for $341 and they came in under spec. Mine was one of them. For sake of full disclosure it had other issues too...namely a loose spring and cross threaded tail cap. Both of these have been fixed...the tail cap was easy, just a little penetrating oil and working it in and out has it to where you would never know there was an issue. The spring was completely resolderred back to the driver board and I added a little epoxy to boot to strengthen it up better than stock. It works flawlessly now with the exception of being under spec. It pulls an easy 420-430mw on average and will peak right up close to 500mw with good batteries. It is a great little laser, just not what I paid for...I suspect I got one of the 300mw ones that were sold at the same GB. Otherwise, it's a nice laser...very hefty host. It has a good beam that's about 1.5mm at the aperture.
I will take best offer over $150....send me you PM's or emails...I will cose the sale in a week. I have agreed to give some of the proceeds to other members who got screwed on this same GB...to help defray some return shipping costs.
Thanks for looking...pics sent via email only asi have issues uploading them to this forum.
Thanks for looking!

Did you not read this?

That's really kind of you offering to help reimburse the other members for their return shipping.

Good luck with your sale. It shouldn't stick around for long at that price.

Top offer up to $175 now.
I should add..it comes with a set of keys and a battery...not the battery it came with but an UltraFire that actually has a decent output....I got the best numbers with a battery bought from Mike-in-Dallas, he sells them for about $10, they are very good. I am not including that battery,as only have a couple.

I sent a few pics to Tselee93 so maybe soon there will be pics to this post.

Just for more info...if you review the tail end of the GB round 3 Laserman/Dragonfire thread you will see that many of the members who bought the 300mw laser got lasers that all came in overspec...most of them were in the range this one puts out....this is why I believe they sent the wrong laser to me. I honestly believe that's what happened. It would be one thing if they would have honored their policy bit they decided to be pretty crappy to those of us who got a bum deal...it took weeks for them to even agree to take them back but only if we paid return shipping with tracking....which is not cheap, especially for the guys in Canada. I was fortunate enough to have bought this one on my coporate CC account...they worked it out for me quickly...the others were not so lucky. Is it a good laser...well, yes, I guess if I had paid for the 300mw (which I believe was around $240, don't hold me to that though)....everyone who got there 300mw seemed to be very pleased. I, for one, will never do business with Lasersman again after the way we were treated.

I will also donate at least $50 to the forum from these proceeds, maybe more depending on how much goes to others and how much it sells for.

Still at $175.

Feels really bad when a company doesnt meets the standards.. Infact if a "person" is selling a laser he should preferably post the lpm results.. They should take full responsibility of their product whatsoever..
