The unit consists of a Mohrenbergh Hotlight kit, a 22600 2500mAh battery, a V5 Flexdrive, A140 diode and an Aixiz glass lens. The flexdrive is maxed @ 1.5A and coin modded for a continious driver duty cycle.

Selling 1.5W Blue, DTR's Custom build W/ Ultrafire Rapid Charger. Comes with everything that I bought it for originally, and A $40 ultrafire Rapid charger for 3.2V/3.7V.
Pm me for price, Thanks!

Mike.

I highly doubt that is outputting 1.9W.

Oops, very sorry about Title. Wasn't even paying attention! You're correct, it's a little over 1.5W. Sorry about the confusion.

Then why did you state in another thread that you were willing to sell a ~2W laser made by DTR?

lying is bad.... :tsk:

I have a 2W blue That I bought from DTR a few months ago, with a 3.7 CR123 + an UltraFire Rapid charger i'm not using anymore that I could throw in.
EDIT: It's portable in custom blue flashlight host.

Quoted for posterity.

Thank you for updating thread title.

Considering I bought the laser about 3 months ago, and hardly used it, didn't remember the specs very well. After You mentioned that the W didn't sound correct, I went back and checked all the messages DTR sent me, and corrected the mistake. I could forward you them if you wish? Anyway, Stop trolling. Mistake has been fixed, now stop spamming the thread with useless posts that only waste space, Thanks.

Thanks a lot! also, have you had any problems shipping to the US? like with claims or anything? I don't suppose you would but i'd like to know for relief from some of the things ive read. since it's not soldered together i would say it's a moot point anyway, looks like a flashlight to anyone in claims. how do you get it to work with sending it here? Thanks ahead of time for answering.

Yup I got it! I should have payment done tomorrow night. SO i don't think you saw my earlier question. Is there any possibly way to get a blue one? if not it's no big deal. I'm just asking because my wifes favorite color is blue, and also why i'm getting a blue laser and not a green. Anyway, thanks for your time!

DTR said:
Sent. Let me know if you don't see it.

It's Mikegt92@yahoo.com,
Hey there isn't anyway I could get the host as blue is there? and Just double checking that all i have to do is solder the wire correct? Anyway, sorry for repeating the questions. just double checking all my info is all!

DTR said:
I can. What was your email again?

Miketilly said:
Hey could you go ahead and send me another PayPal bill? I lost the other one. I'm going to be able to pay by tomorrow I believe. later in the day after I deposit some money into the bank. Thanks DTR!

It is just that easy. That lone wire that is coming from the head/module just needs to be contacted to the flat pad in the host as pictured by heating up the solder that is already there. Also the nice thing is you get an Idea what soldering is all about without having to do it to any sensitive items.

Miketilly said:
hey is there any way you can tell me everything thats put into this laser from diode to crystal? or do you want to wait until after i buy?

It will have the positive wire from the drop in module that needs to be soldered to the large contact pad in the host. The wire and the contact pad have plenty of solder on them and all you will need is a soldering iron.

Here is is when you are done.:D

Anyway they are $190 shipped US W/Aixiz glass lens and battery. That is everything you will need except a charger. I can provide a link to a good one for you as well.;)

I've heard a lot of people recommend your laser builds, and I was looking for a blue 1W or higher for around 200-300$? or if my price is to low maybe something different. Just if you get time to reply i'd appreciate it.

And for calling DTR a troll, you just got neg repped by me!

Oh yeah, and if you don't remember specs, then dont make up an inflated number and try to sell it as such!

Re: Selling 1.9W Blue, DTR's Custom build W/ Ultrafire Rapid Charger

I bought the laser from DTR, why would I call him a troll? once again, more quotes. DTR Said it was 1.4W-1.5W, Don't need to provide anything more then that I think. As for the price I bought it for, everyone that sent a PM, I told them the Original price and what I'm asking for as well. As for changing the title, I have no idea how to. As I haven't been on this website for quite some time. Feel free to explain, and please EDIT your posts? Don't need you to completely spam up my Thread. Once again, Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Found it in advance options, Thanks for the help though,

and thats just what i'm looking for! MY wife and I love blue beams and always had fun poping baloons. so I think i'll go with yours. I'll be paying friday, how will I send payment? as this is my first transaction on this forum
DTR said:
I think for what they are they are probably not bad units. I have never played with one. I would not be a fan of the 2 CR123A's. That tells me they went as cheap as they could with the driver and as a consequence they have to use those low capacity batteries. The flexdrive is one of the best drivers you can use but they are about 10X as expensive but it is worth it for the safety features that it provides. They are boost drivers that allow the higher capacity of the larger single Li-Ions. I would assume the spartan batteries are around 900mAh where the 22600 in my kit is 2500mAh for much longer run times between charging. But with mine running @ a higher wattage it will eat up some of that difference. I would bet the spartan is closer to spec than the Arctic is but my unit will have probably 400-600mW more power depending on the actual output of the spartan. These are all metered over 1.4W and most peak close to 1.5W.:)

Miketilly said:
also one last question, this laser. how does it compare to the 1W spartan? And I don't mean any offence of course. just that before I saw yours I was about to click the add to cart button. I;ve heard good from both and no bad reviews. so just wanted your thoughts on it. Thanks! cheers! :takeit:

DTR said:
Yep it is that easy. I have plenty of these kits on hand let me know when you are ready.

Miketilly said:
So, all I would have to to is solder the tip onto the contact point, and everything else is put together on the host? Or would I need further instructions? Sorry about all the questions, I'm just curious as I'm now 100% i'm going to buy this laser friday.

DTR said:
I can't do that but you will find it is the easiest thing you will ever attempt to solder. The contact point is huge and will already have solder on it as will the wire. You will just need an iron to heat it up.

Miketilly said:
Okay, well I'm definitional interested! I will take one, but I cant get it until probably Friday. Only problem is I don't have any soldering ability. I'm still learning, and I've done a decent amount of it but not enough to trust myself with this. I suppose theres no way you can send it already soldered?

OK, so then who were you caling a troll, bhwollen? Another well respected member.

I'm glad to see that you've now edited the title, but it doesn't change the fact that you called out another member due to an error on your part.

You should probably end this thread and open a new one, with the correct information to begin with.

^^^LOL, Mark I think he was calling me a troll actually:whistle:

This thread can be cleaned up by a mod easily, but there is nothing wrong written anywhere here except by OP, so such cleanup would not be in order... IMHO.
