I had a Dead Wicked Laser 55mw that I sent to GooeyGus for diagnosis/repair. He was very responsive and competent. He kept in touch with me every step and now I have my laser back and it works! Turns out, it was a mis-aligned crystal. Oddly, when you rotate the laser, the beam drops off. GoeyGus believes it's something wrong with the diode itself (beyond basic repair), but it now peaks at 75mw! even better than new!

The lesson is two-fold.
1. Wicked Lasers suck
2. GooeyGus rocks
