Hey Ansel, maybe you could go open source, Make a tutorial on how to build them, let people modify them freely to there preference, and then give up on making money on them. If you don't want to make bunches to sell.. maybe let others do so. I mean Mohrenberg puts out hosts for people to build for them selves, but some people opt to buy a few hosts, build them up real nice and sell them at a small profit. I see nothing wrong with this, but I'm just throwing a suggestion out there...

Shipping is so damn expensive. 52,- EURO registered and insured.
Some people already DID spend 500,- Dollar so it is a fair price I guess...but shipping is up to the buyer...insured or not...whatever.
If enough people want one, we could arrange a mass-production including mass-shipping to a central point of the US...

If 5-10 people would buy one, I would have to ship for 52,- Euro once instead of adding 52,- to each order. About 70,- $...quiet a lot.

Work is never near negligable...it would take the same amount of time no matter what. Just because time isn't pressing doesn't mean that work is free.
