i really dont know if id be willing to do that, while im about as curious as you to see what output it really is at... im the untrusting nervous type when it comes to expensive toys...

Remember you would not be sending it too me, it would be too a Respected Member of the Forums, the main thing why i asked is because i'm new and you seem new as well and in the Stick's it says if buying from new members ask to use a Respected Member on the forums in order to protect the seller and buyer

haha ya the transaction went well, i have no idea why ebay didn't take it down cus i have seen a lot of postings disappear because of ebay taking them down. dunno why they let some of the arctics sell and take down others...

it did not go down because you never got reported just remember if you took paypal as a payment they can close your account and ebay can as well for selling something that is in there do not sell list. so i hop for your sake no one reports the link now lol you might just find your self in crap lol

Some of the Respected Members (high rep, high post, long time regular member) spend so much money on lasers that honestly an Arctic just wouldn't tempt them enough. I mean between handhelds, labbys & gas lasers I'm sure some have dozens of lasers with pieces worth over $500. Hell, look at the thread for that pair of handheld 556nm 20mW CNI lasers. Custom built by CNI, only two in the world. They must have charged a ton for each of them.
I think I have even seen Daguin act as a middle man before. Certainly a Respected Member. Moderator, been here forever, online everyday, 13,000 posts, rep coming out the ears & breathes lasers.
To some extent you can try to take 'trust' out of the equation.

Situations where the seller wants to avoid using a middle man are much more likely to be situations where a middle man should be used.

I really like the laser and it's not like i would change my mind based on the out put we all know that the Arctic are below 1w, i being new here and the seller also looking really new i would want someone who is a respected member who can look over the laser and make sure everything is ok with it, as there is no way for me to get Wicked Lasers to cover it if something was wrong.
So if your not willing to use a middle man I'll just keep my money safe and maybe look at one of the other lasers that are being sold here by Members that build them

its not that I'm not willing to, its that Im only going to trust people I've done business with before... reguardless of post count or rep.
I would trust daguin, I have done business with him a few times actually.

Honestly, arctic, for $150 is a great deal imho.
I'm taking the c6 build since it will save me the time of having to build one myself - want to give one to my brother, and LocksmithArmy accepted my offer, which was barely above cost.
If anyone here is concerned about LocksmithArmy - I will post about my experience after getting the laser. Will be sending him payment later today.

haha someone reported the listing (most likely an asshole on this forum), but ebay just told me not to sell anything like that again or they could suspend my account. I don't care as long as I still got my $415 for something i paid only $200 for. the arctic turned out to be a great investment

I am still awaiting payment for the s3 and the cree, if i dont hear anything in a day or so ill figure they forgot and they will go to the next person in line
