You're not a company. You're a hobbyist. If you want to be a company, you better start paying for ads.

Well, if you want to be a company, then talk to c0ldshadow. Because companies aren't allowed to sell in the BST section.

Well, by setting up a shop, planning on making a website, having legal assistance, you're a company. And you have compared yourself to companies, and you said that you could be a company if you wanted to be. Seems an awful like you are a company.

The BST section is for selling builds, not for advertising for your build service. ESPECIALLY when you don't post prices.

Cmon guys, lets hug.

We could argue about this for the entire year and nothing good would come out of it.

Ryan has put his shop on hold, and is following people's advice on what to do. Which, is good.

I do agree with everyone saying that you need more experience under your belt before you start selling lasers.

Maybe try doing what RHD did. There's not a reason to open a shop, if the people you're selling to would be on here anyway. A vast majority of people outside of the forums are too incompetent or dumb to use a high powered laser anyway, so why endanger anyone else's eyesight? Yes, requiring goggles is great but how do you know they aren't some cheap brand bought off of ebay that protects from anything but a laser shot to the eye.

There's too much liability involved with selling to people outside of the forums... It's a lot easier to start out smaller just selling single builds on the B/S/T part of the forum. Then you can gain reputation and then figure out what to do after that point.

Wolf, I don't think it should necessarily be called a company; it's more like a lemonade stand, I'd think. You can call it one but, in reality it's what it is. A hobbyist's laser stand.

More and more crying. I'm within the rules; you're trying to twist them to fit your needs.

Sorry but I've learned that being nice to people like you is a lost cause.

You're making yourself look like an asshole, which you've been doing this entire thread.

You constantly attack me with stupid concerns, unlike others real concerns, and then put words in my mouth and assume things.

You really aren't the wolfy I used to like and look up to.
