Asking $750 as it is gently used...

I have a 440 mW Green laser that I don't really use anymore and I would guesstimate the total time allocated for this thing being on would accumulate to 30 minutes total perhaps. The laser diode has an 80,000 hour lifetime and is built very well and this is not a toy. This laser will burn your skin and protective eyewear is highly recommended. FYI, IT IS A FELONY TO AIM ANY LASER AT AIRCRAFT. DOING SO WILL LAND YOU IN JAIL SO DO NOT EVER AIM LASERS AT AIRCRAFT. this laser is very bright and has low divergence. It works great as an Astro aimer for large star parties but it can be a little bit overkill for that. Anyone who enjoys playing with Lasers can appreciate the power behind this one. Here are the specifications of this laser:

AGAIN THIS LASER IS NOT A TOY THEREFORE YOU MUST TREAT IT WITH RESPECT. (Of course most of you know this, but I have to say it for those who don't have common sense).

Length 200 mm
Diameter 40 mm at head
Weight 385gm / 12oz
Wavelength 532nm (continuous wave)
Body construction Machined from solid 6061 grade aluminum block
Operation mode Continuous Wave (non-pulsed)
Type DPSS laser
Transverse mode TEM00
Laser diode Powerful 2.5 Watt n-LIGHT IR diode (encased in copper to improve heat transfer)
Laser diode lifetime n-LIGHT high reliability IR diode: 80,000 hours MTTF with BriteLife™ Technology
Beam divergence (full angle) <1.00 mrad typically <0.9 mrad (Lowest true divergence in the industry)
Beam Diameter (1/e2) <1.5 mm typically <1.4 mm
Polarization ratio >100:1
M2Beam Quality <1.1
Duty cycle 5 minutes on w/ 2 minutes cooling time (72% for 7 minute cycle). Learn More
Operating temperature 15°C to 30°C
Switch combination momentary push button and constant on/off
Power Source 3.7V 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion cell

This is a very nice laser and a crowd pleaser as well. It will last you and serve you for many years. The rechargeable batteries will give you about 2 1/2 hours continuous time but it is recommended that the duty cycle is five minutes at a time and then turn it off and allow it to cool and then you can continue again. Email me if you have questions or want to see additional photos or videos. I do have some videos posted to YouTube.
SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE, payPal and cash are the only excepted transactions I will make. If you are under the age of 18, you must get your parents permission to purchase this laser. Buyer pays shipping.

Free bump for you. Its a good price considering its original retail...But if there is one thing I have noticed, its that Optotronics lasers tend to not sell terribly fast around here, if at all- they are just imply too pricey for most people (considering you can get a 400mW 532 from laserBTB for under 200$). That being said, I wish you luck on your sale....they are great looking units, and i would love to have one- but again, simply too expensive for me to ever justify getting one :/

Well I guess this is all true about cheaper lasers, but that's why because they are cheap.. I am selling it because I want to upgrade to a higher power one. I want to buy the RPL 450. Yes I know it's not much of an power increase but I just want to do it. If I don't sell it then I'll just keep both of them.

The silver RPLs are awesome! Mine did 700mW, had to sell it unfortunately.

There aren´t much of these exclusive lasers around. Seems that most people just go for power as cheap as possible, but don´t care a lot about good divergence and beam diameter (much more important than power IMHO).

Good luck on your sale!

Yes I totally agree. Been quality and divergence has always been a preference over power. I mean, who wants a laser that spreads out to 6 feet in diameter at half a mile? I know that Lasers will burn things and sometimes that's cool to watch it burn, but it does get old pretty quick. It's more entertaining to aim the laser and see the beam travel for miles and miles while still keeping a low divergence.

If i do not sell this laser before June 7th, then I'm just going to keep it along with the new RPL 450 that I will get from Optotronics during the week of the 7th in June when I go to Colorado.

Well you missed out! I'm keeping this laser after all. I still plan on on buying the RPL 450 when I meet up with Jack in a couple of weeks. Sooooo....
