This.

Rayfoss is good as well from what I here and they ship to the U.S. as well. Both are equally good companies though.

Edit: I have the laser from the first link. Burns things within just a few seconds. Given that they are black or very dark in color of course. :D

Depends. If you have little to no light pollution, then yes you can see the beam pretty well. Nothing like a green beam, IMO though.

You can't get goggles cheap, at least not for red. If you want quality , certified goggles, get it here: 630-650nm Hobby and Education Protective Eyewear [NOR-HEA-00000H-700] - $47.93

If you want slightly cheaper ones which should work, you can get these: 590-760nm Red laser safety goggles£>Laser Accessories£>Laser&lighting products£>www.0-like.com or Rayfoss Laser Glasses - Red laser beam protection 600-700nm :: Laser Safety :: Dragon Lasers Laser Glasses - Red laser beam protection 590nm to 650nm :: Laser Safety :: Dragon Lasers Red LaserShades

(on the last link, from wicked lasers, I think they posted the wrong picture... that's the picture of their expensive version, but not their cheap version).
