I think you will be able to build one for cheaper than that, you can buy Daedal's circuit for $25 shipped, a laser diode for $17.50 shipped from SenKat, and an AixiZ module for less than $10 shipped, and to top it off it's gonna put out a LOT more than 75mW!

Cool, where can I buy the circuit?, and can you link the axiZ module I will need? As far as the diode, can I take one out of a 16x dvd burner?

Nevermind, I answered my own questions by searching ::) . Lol, but I have a new question though, What is a good case to put all of this in, and what kind of batteries will I need?

For Daedal's curcuit (the one you buy) I think you can just hook it up to a 9V. For case you can use pretty much anything you want, maybe a project box from radioshack? It really depends on what you want, if you're looking for a handheld You could try a Mini Dorcy or MXDL flashlight mod.
Here is a link to the MXDL mod, looks like a great burner!

Check the buy sell and trade section i cant remember the name but the guy is selling a focus modded pulsar for 125 dollers which is pretty ridicolous pricing for having a focus mod. Its a great deal check their.
