Hey guys, just a small sale of stuff I have that I'm never gonna use.

First for sale is a USB buck converter...

I made it for my wireless power transmitter, and well, now it's not really doing much as of late. It works great for basically any voltage above 6 - 7 volts and charges your USB devices at a nice 1 amp.

It's super efficient, too so the thing doesn't even really need a heatsink...

I'm asking $12 plus shipping for this. It took me a good while to make it.

Next is a short open can red diode. It lases well, and it's already pre-pressed in an aixiz module.

I'm asking for $10 shipped for this.

Next up is a fatty motor. It's from a car seat that we had torn apart in my class, and I'm never going to use it. It's got a lot of torque, so it could possibly be useful for a robot or something? Uses 12 volts!

Next is a DC microamp meter. It can be easily changed into a HV meter too with some resistors in series, or if you just want to measure really small currents!

$7 shipped for it!

And lastly, is an IR LED array I had built a year or so ago. It was meant to run off of a 9volt battery, and well, yeah. It works, and I haven't done much with it lately.

I'll include a 9 volt linear regulator with it, just remind me when you PM me about it.

Asking $3 plus shipping for it.

USA offers only, please! PM me if you're interested in anything above.

Hey,

This is a weird offer, but I'll pay you for permission to use your USB buck circuit. My tent melter project here:

is currently using the guts of car lighter USB adapter (luckily it IS buck, not linear) to provide the USB charging. However, it's limited to 500mA. I'd love permission to your schematic to create some surface mount USB bucks. Even to have a bunch on hand would be awesome for emergencies.

Not my schematic to an extent. It'd be Linear tech's schematic, with the exception of slightly adjustable output voltage, and the USB port.

http://www.stanford.edu/class/ee122/Parts_Info/datasheets/LT1170.pdf

It's on page 13. Also, with the USB port the data pins require a certain amount of voltage on them to be able to charge whatever it is you're charging at 1 amp. I believe (if I remember right) they're an 18k and 12k ohm resistive divider.

So, 18k from the 5 volt output of the regulator, to one of the data pins, then 12k to ground. You have to do this for both pins.

Hope that helps!
