hey mike, does the counterbored ring for the contact pad screw out so i can add my own round driver?

Unfortunately camo is the best we can do. We aren't looking to make any more of these kits as they just aren't selling for us, and I've now lowered them as far as I can really go, and they're still hardly selling...

Mike, just got the blue 501B host in and it is beautiful. However I can't get the aluminum heat sink to separate from the host top after it has been unscrewed from the rest of the host. It will spin in the housing, but won't come out no matter what I do. If there is something I am missing please let me know what it is. I have the hex wrench but the part that you would use it on to hold the module into the heat sink won't come out. Please advise,

I'm amazed these aren't selling better :yabbmad:

Every time I look at them, I notice something else special about them. The pressed contact ring for ensuring good contact between heatsink and body, the brass ring to solder your driver or contact board to, with silicone leads already soldered onto contact board for you! I do believe the wf501b will fit in standard 1" ring mounts, for folks who want a rifle laser or rifle flashlight.

And you get all of that for $20, and even have the option for fancy focus knobs!!

Anyways, free bump for a well thought-out product at a great price!

Mike is a VERY busy man. He responds when he is online. He isnt like the rest of us who are on here daily and check for updates every 5 minutes :p

I've been working with him on some custom anodizing work and he replies about every three days. Just give it some time and he will reply, he is just super busy
