Hey, BP. If you change your mind on your MS-SSW, I can finish the build for you. Have you tried to use pure acetone to clean the lens? You can also try 90% Isopropyl to clean it.

Should you sell it, I will make the same offer to your buyer. That's a helluva price for a 9mm MS-SSW.

Sure you can finish, but either way I'm selling. I put a unique build in every MS, and my SSW build is being custom done through sinner.

So the lens is cleaned, but I don't have a clean housing for it.

So here's how that will work, I will send you the unmounted lens, and the moment I receive funds for the laser, I will purchase a lens housing from DTR and have it sent to your address. That way you don't have to wait longer for the lens to show up here :)

Also will have a Kryton 405nm 450mW up soon.

That's an x drive on the ssw not an xboost. People if you want to ground this you can use a c clip all you do is sand down one side and solder the wire in the thru hole.

EDIT: have you thought about soaking your residue coated lens barrel in the alcohol? Might get it off....

I got the lens clean, I can try that with the barrel. Also going to try a thin layer of thermal grease in the threads as lubricant, might help the lens sticking problem.

Setting up a thread for custom builds with Sinner hosts (upon his approval) and MrCrouse builds (approved) just waiting on the approval from Mods to post an ad.

Just got an idea from this thread about having a mini kryton pocket laser. Maybe running a 18500 or a 14500 in that size.

That's an awesome deal.. esp. on the 520nm , For those who donot own a high powered 405nm you have no idea what you are missing!
