Might buy one just to switch the host up on my current maglite, or send it.off for anodizing. Hmmm decisions decisions

Hey mike. What would it take to anodize my mag? I would just have you do one of yours, but I want to keep the key switch and voltage monitor

Hi, I am not totally sure. The maglites have some very thick anodization, so it may be a bit difficult, but it should be doable. There are a lot of different standard maglite colors though, so you may want to consider just purchasing a different colored one. Unless you want some special anodizing done.

I'm really partial to the voltage monitor and key switch and I'd imagine it would be a pain to swap over. I love the blue, was just keeping my options open . Thanks .

So these come with a blank contact board? And if so, would these be case negative hosts(put in the batteries positive side first)?

These are case negative. They don't really come with a "Contact board", but the maglites have a whole side-switch assembly, and we already have leads soldered onto that for you.

Ya. Well, it's a 2D maglite, so it's designed for 2xD batteries. I believe you can also use the lithium D-Cell equivalent then. We could also make a spacer tube if you prefer 26650s or 18650s.
