Mouser order arrived today!
I've got everything sorted and ready to start making the drivers!

I'm going to make 1, test it, take pictures, ect... and then begin making them all.
I'm also just making 1 to see how well the soldering works. These are super tiny components.
I'll be back in a bit with pictures!
I'm going to sacrifice my m140 diode and use it as the load to test driver outputs.

Just curious as I can't really tell from schematics I've seen... Does this driver use a constant negative?

That's awesome! And very courageous/generous of you to risk your own M140 diode for our sake. If anything should happen to your diode I will send you one of mine as I plan on using many of these drivers in the near future for all my builds.

I never use my laser anyways. I only carry it because the sheriff deputies are always coming to the station wanting to play with it.

Sorry I haven't posted a pic or anything.
I built one and it worked great. I have been assembling drivers ever since.
These components are so damn tiny. I am assembling all except the set resistors. I'm worried the tiny labeling will get removed if I bake and clean them all at once and ill have 100 drivers with unknown output.
So right now I am assembling them all and then setting them manually per order.

Very nice Moh, you always have the best stuff!

I'll order some of these tomorrow when my paycheck comes in, as long as the money the government doesn't take is enough to cover some recent credit card purchases ;)

I do have a question though, would you consider selling a few bare PCBs along with a couple assembled?
Don't get me wrong, your prices are AMAZING for the time it takes to assemble these things, I would just like some more experience with small SMD parts, and while ordering from digikey is easy, I'm not sure if that PCB maker takes small orders.

-With thanks, Matt

I should have some pictures posted today.

Actually, I may just go ahead and finish one for the sake of getting pictures posted.

I'll probably sell them bare, as kits soon.
I'm going to apply a no refund policy to "kits" though. These parts are freakishly small and would be extremely difficult to assemble without using solder paste. So i don't want people bridging all the pins on the mosfet and driver and asking for a refund when they can't get the pins individually soldered.

pictures added! check first post for the pictures.

You will notice the two empty pads. This is where the set resistors go, and will be added when I fill the orders.
