Got them yesterday... Sadly i couldn´t get the first one to work :'(
I hope the other one works. I tried 3 cr2032 in series to achieve 9v, but it only emmitted a very very very very dim violet dot.
Does anyone think i should try with a full 9V battery again, or did i kill it while harvesting or pressing it in or soldering on it?

well a number of thing could have killed the diode! but my best bet would be heat.

and what driver are you using?

i am guessing the rckstr? if so i test mine with a 9 volt

I wouldn't use CR2032 batteries, they're designed for very low current draw applications (like 5mA) so asking them to dump 100-200mA probably isn't going to go over real well with them

I bought new 9v batterys and it worked^^

Questions over questions, but could anyone help me choosing a driver? rocstrs driver or the flexdrive2?
I think i will buy a flexdrive, because I could then use a single or 2 batterys.

it really depends on the host your using and what batteries your using.

i would chose flex drive over the rckstr just because of the compatibility.

flex drives will work with pretty much all the battery combination's.
