just send it to a reputable member, I understand the point in that but I would never just ship of a 525$ laser with no guarantee of getting it back again, no matter how trustworthy the member was

It might say 175mW but do you know if it really outputs that much?
by it's capabilities yes.i have no doubt

Well, it could be outputting 220mW, and then you'll sell it faster. You don't know until you meter it.

That is what we mean by sending it to a reputable member.. we have some members here with a meter who are extremely trusted and with whom there is no risk of you losing your laser if you send it to them. They have worked as middle men loads of times with nothing but good outcomes.
