The "Torpedo Keychain" 400mW+ 638nm
Here's a fun build. I've called it the "Torpedo", but you'd have my blessing to rename it if that's too cheesy. It's just really hard to get away from the fact that it looks like a torpedo! Either that, or a propane tank
Anyway, it's one of the strange builds that I never really planned on selling. But downsizing is a good part of life, so I've decided to part with her. She runs on 16340 (CR123) 3.7V cells. It includes a red-coated glass lens, as well as a really neat tapered-angle custom focus knob. It's a twisty-style on/off setup. She LPMs at 400mW on the LaserBee. She also peaks higher at 500mW+ on the Ophir during the first 10 seconds of runtime.
You MUST own laser protection goggles appropriate for this wavelength, and
You MUST be over 20 years of age, and
You MUST be familiar and experienced with the appropriate safety precautions to take with lasers of this power.
You MUST NOT be a resident of Canada
This is not a laser pointing device. At all times, protective laser safety glasses appropriate for this wavelength must be worn by the operator. This laser should not be used around 3rd parties (non-operators) pets, or for any recreational purpose.
