Yup.

Strange that a person would do something like this within a community that he has built up such relationships over time.

The 45 days time for a PP dispute is long gone. $15 down the drain. :yabbmad:

Unfortunately I had forgot about the 2 of these I ordered until I saw this today. I ordered mine back on Nov. 5th so I'm past the 45 day Paypal window as well.

In my years of selling and buying LASER/Optics he takes the position two for bad experiences. The only other problem I had was during one of my sales of my argon laser power supply kits from this pinhead that went by two names over in Kansas I think, I still have that dimwit's kit, he denied a UPS COD order and I ate my shipping costs,when I got it back the filament transformer's corner was sticking half an inch out thru the box and the PCB board was busted in half, there was no mention of it being damaged upon receipt and when I called the guy up he was a total ass and said he did it on purpose to me, I had sold him a few other things beforehand. this was around 20 years ago.
I used COD for almost everything back then. That is two out of a LOT of people and I have a great overall opinion on the type of people that play and/or work with this stuff.

I observed Kiyo over at PL being active and posting and was wondering if I am the only person who realizes this. He has also said over there that he is getting some lenses for 635 correction and would be selling them there.
I filed a dispute with paypal and they had mailed me back that the dispute has been escalated - whatever that means. An odd thing I found was that they say that if I win the dispute that I "may" get my money back....
"May" WTF?!

I have $48 riding on this.

Just tossing this out there -

I've got a bunch of STCS1 and STCS2 designs both on hand (in PCB form) and in the mail to me. For anyone that got screwed here, I'll send you some PCBs at no cost. Just give me your address, and I'll toss them in an envelope. You need to be able to solder pretty tiny leads (or reflow them), but maybe it's better than nothing? The parts are all easy to grab from Digikey.

The only caveat is that I want to test my design first, which I may not have time to do for a few weeks. But it's straight off the datasheet (more or less).

Hey, I just thought of something...and now I feel sort of like an ass, yet I think again then not.. LOL

You may not be, but I have always been a PL member and I messaged him over there..
He didn't answer the first time but two days later I messaged him and he answered and
told me of his personal problem.
And then I went silent with him while watching the calender countdown, and filed
a dispute over the telephone with paypal. I am thinking now that I could had just as
easily (hopefully) messaged him asking for my money back!

If I am understanding this right, my email from paypal says I have been reimbursed and
it shows :

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover $48.00 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.


If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

I dunno, it all freaks me out, its up to you, who knows, anyone tried this?
So far nobody has reported what communications (TTBoMK) they have had or attempted
directly with him.
Just ask him for a refund over there at PL.

I asked him for a refund once, then sent him another pm stating that if I didn't get a refund by the 5th of December, (two days before my 45 were up on paypal) that I would file a dispute. No response at all. I think I'm going to get my money back but still paypal is holding the dispute open because Kiyo pretended that he was going to ship the drivers but never actually did.

Okay to all those who are waiting on items from me some have been shipped friday the rest are going out tuesday.
These items will go out to every one even if you were issued a refund.
You placed your order and i feel obligated to make sure you get them even if its at a cost to my self simply because thats the way it should work.

I cant go into 100% large detail due to the involvement of a minor.
But there was a good reason i decided to stay of LPF till i had everything taken care of.
A friend died in a car crash as for some unknown reason he was sleeping on the highway pulled off to the side of the road and was hit by a car going well over 100mph.
It was found he had foreign chemicals in his blood of unknown origin.
My home was his last location, so my life and home got put under a microscope.
So a investigation went under way about his death then a second into my life and then it went deep into my hobby life. As my hobby's have me with a lot of acids and other chemicals and high voltage and many class 4 lasers.
Once they found the chemicals came from his apartment they decided i was no longer a suspect but i was still getting interviewed about my "Dangerous hobbies" My lawyer told me to not do much of anything till all this was settled so no one else get any problems or has to deal with any fallout.
It took some time for everything to settle and in that time i did post on PL simply because i had no active transactions or risks of putting anyone there in danger.
As i would hate to have brought any customers any problems besides the one i knew what about to happen.

So again Im sry and am going to make sure these get to you as i got alot of pm and emails to go threw.

(some may not know but the emails tied to PL and LPF are different so the one tied to LPF i have not checked, till today.)
I had the luck of talking to some of you on PL and threw the irc
But now i can talk here without any problems.
Kinda a bit of irony i was helping drlava with servicing his customers and answering there questions and was unable to do the same for mine.
Hope you guys can forgive me, but let the packages speak louder than words.
Let me know if the packages have not reached you by friday if you are USA based if you were international it may take longer.

i knew there was no way you could be a scammer thankfully i was right. that's a very valid reason, i knew you couldnt scam anyone after how good you have been with out transactions.....:beer:

Hey,

I was one of those that got a refund. But when those drivers arrive, I'll shoot that $ right back at you.

Or if you haven't shipped my order, you can just hold on to it and let someone else purchase the drivers. I've been playing around in Eagle a lot lately, and have enough drivers on hand for a lot of building.
