On that second shot its probably just what is on the painting or something but it almost looks like your fireplace is smoking lol.

Thanks. And believe me the laser is awesome and I'm really pleased with it.

Yeah it's just the painting in the second picture, I didn't even notice but it does look it's smoking.
The dot is actually on the marble border around the fire place.
If my laser was burning through marble that would be pretty impressive.
I don't think I'd want to mess with the laser if that was the case though.

The new hosts have arrived so this next round will be Flash Freeze lasers. I expect them to be completed by Wednesday or Thursday of next week if all goes well.

UPDATE: Lasers are complete. I have hit an oddity though... Here are the outputs I achieved:
1.4W
2W
2.1W
2.1W

These are all with 3-element lenses I got from DTR. I tested my LPM with 4 of my known output lasers and it reads perfectly so it is not a calibration error. Because of the insane outputs I achieved I will not be opening them up for payments until tomorrow. I will be retesting the lasers in the morning at least two more times to assure they are correct and then I will open them up.

Nice that is actually funny as I tested one for a guy yesterday and got 2W as well. I just thought great luck it is really efficient. Now I wonder if it was the diode or I did get a new batch of three element lenses in but I did not think they should be different than the last. I will have to do some checking.:beer:

I just rechecked everything and they are in fact as I first metered them to be. This batch has the most powerful M140 lasers I have ever made on 3 element lenses.

Prices have been posted. The most powerful 2 of the batch are still pending prices and one is on hold.

I will have parts for an additional two Flash Freeze lasers in a few days. They would have been released today but they were not satisfactory so I have scrapped them.
