Nick - why don't you answer my questions, or at least my PM's ? Are you that much of a pussy that you won't even fess up to taking stuff that does not belong to you ? To answer your previous question, THIS laser nerd is 6'5" tall, and 250lbs...not really as much fat as there is muscle - so you are simply talking out of your ass. You have NO idea what 99% of the folks on here look like, or what their morals are - I mean, come on, folks are talking about popping your eyes out with IR lasers for God's sake....get a grip, realize you were caught - confess, pay people back, and get on with life - or continue being a little shitball and mouthing off to everyone.[/quote]

EPIC WIN! that was the best speech iv ever heard against a scammer

I'd bet it didn't end well - for a scammer, that guy was pretty amateur... Mistakes: 1. Using own address 2. Using own name 3. Using own phone 4. Coming back to boast about it 5. Sending a pen with an address on 6. Taking on LPF rather than an individual :-S

My turn to bump this after so long.
I got my money back, not sure if from him, since he probably just had already withdrawn the money from the paypal account. The australian police did nothing about the e-mail about the fake report of him pointing at people(they just replied asking for a phone number to call), and I just stopped bothering about it.

Out of curiosity, could anyone phone the number to see if it's still his number? Maybe the "revenge is a dish better served cold" proverb might come true. :)

I called him. His mother answered and told me that he was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef and was stung by a swarm of Box Jellyfish. They found his bloated corpse washed up on the shore, being slowly consumed by a flock of seagulls. They opted for cremation of his remains. However, the crematory mixed up the remains with those of a deceased pet cat, and his ashes ended up in a cat-shaped porcelain urn on the fireplace mantle of a lonely old lady. The old woman fell asleep during a gas leak and a stray 250mW green laser beam landed on a black surface, igniting the gas and blowing up the house. Homeless scavengers came by and looted the burned remains. They found an adorable cat-shaped jar full of what they believed was kitty litter and urinated in it.

When I called, she actually had trouble remembering who I was talking about. She and her husband have moved on. They have had two new children and have forgotten that Nick ever existed. When I told his mother about this scam, she told me that it's probably best that they can't remember him.
