Just buy your own projector. Harvesting the diodes are not that hard, and you will save money.

Does anyone know anything about the A230? Is it basically the same as A130 and A140? Are there 24 puppies in there?

OK, I got the thing tested with a flexdrive and battery. My question now is:
I have two "D" cell batteries that put out 3v and jump around with the erratic current from about 3.5W to a max of 5W. Would it be safe to connect Mr Phat to this hookup, WITHOUT a driver, seeing how it can stand much more current than these D's are putting out?
....And, I may have found a host!!!! It's big and it's heavy!

dont forget you need to power the TEC as well.

Sbob was right to threadjack this- many want to know more about the phlatlight- we have moved on about getting the arrays.
That red LED would make one red flashlight from Hell!!
and the maglites would seem to be the prefect host too.
