Hi guys I received my Laser Glow Aries 75mw yesterday and tried it. Although it was very kool I was not blown out of the water like I thought I would be. So I sent it back to Justin (who offeres incredible service)for a refund until I can save up enough money for their Monster Hercules Models. In the meantime I know the fourms are a good place to get great prices for amazing products. So if anyone has a green over 500mw that will blow me outta the water at night I will be certainly interested. I Want a beam that can slice through a pakr at night and good for burning. Anybody let me know. Thanks guys!!

Check this PL-C Green Laser at jetlasers.net . I came across the 3rd video at the page and the 500mw seems to output at a peak of >700mw. Not bad. Certainly ir filtered.

It's like the Aries you had, yes, except it uses an 18650 battery instead of C batteries. It's indeed a handheld laser.

Understood. Do think twice. No need to rush to spend much $$$ on a portable.
The reason why i recommend jetlasers PL-C is not only i had a red laser of the older version but also that they do test the laser carefully and willing to provide the test results. One of the top-notch portables, without doubt.

So your saying I should not go with a portale then? I just want something that will blow my mind and the 75mw was "kool" but it didnt blow my mind for spending 339$ I want something that will blaze through long distance and been seen many miless away and awe my friends and I. Thats all :)

75mw at 339$ is way too expensive anyway.
339$ could afford a decent 250mw or 300mw decent green laser power, ir filtered, nlight diode. I guess you may not rly need any >500mw ones. Probably >200mw ones, I mean the up-to-spec or overspeced ones, are good enough for your expectation.

I understand the only reason I would ike to go nuts is because this will be my only purchase for a long time and I want to be completely satisfied and not have any regrets thats all. So you still say only 250-300mw eh?

Yes, I guess a 250mw or 300mw is powerful enough for your uses.
500mw or more is too dangerous and you have to wear goggles whenever you find the beam dazzling. :)

If you do test a few of high powered lasers, you will find what you linked above is one of the most unstable portables, not only the instability in the on/off button near the blue led but also >80% probably underspec. It claims it's ir filtered. Yes, it is but there are still a lot of ir residual power and even the 532nm outputting is insufficient.

I'm not to be rude but this duplicated laser was tested a lot and proved a lot to be unworthy of the pricing. I could get you more than a lot of same ones with half the price.
