is this 808nm diode single mode, I assume?

its just a normal t803 diode, so probably the camera.

yes its single mode diode. its actually a 200mw diode but for long life ive only set it to 100mw

Nobody will buy it as a triple set these days...

BTW, I always wondered:
Could you focus a single-mode 808nM diode and look through an IR camera and see it as a long beam that would have good divergence?

A cheap digital camera (webcam) without an IR filter, or a good one with the filter removed (and possibly a clear one installed, otherwise the focus shifts) should show the beam, as the sensitivity of the chips extends quite a bit into the IR region (that's why they have an IR filter in the first place). You'd have to provide smoke for scattering (the longer the wavelength, the less scattering there is in air).

use google for a proper conversion

Ah, I kept thinking that the british pound was x2 the US dollar...figured 180pounds was around 360 or so. :)

You still have these around mid-May, I just may buy the set off you.

Hi,

are those leadlight hosts? What kind of finish do they have, gloss or flat & did you paint them yourself...? Sorry but I can't be sure, even with all the pictures...   :-/

Last but not least, would you be willing to build a "matching" 532nm of say, around 50mW, if the price was right...?

Traveller, I have some of his lasers already. Yes, they are leadlights, and have a gloss finish (I think - they are very shiny anyway).

This is probably not much help, but you can see the shine (and the fact it's a leadlight) in this picture:

It's a pity you aren't selling that 808nm on it's own :p I have a blu-ray and red off you already ;) 200mW and on it's own would mean another sale from me.
