Well, the manufacturer uses a sonic bath. Anodizers manual says use nitric acid to clean it. I say use some kind of solvent like paint thinner and a tooth brush.

Crap!! Dave, and those that just recently got these barrels, try to thread a lens into the barrel. I'm 99.9% sure that I didn't tap the threads. Let me know and I'll ship you a tap so that you can redo the threads. That or you can ship them back to me and I'll tap them. I apologize. With polishing so many of these, I forgot that was a step that I needed to do.

Hey Ken...
   I assume my Barrel will have the same issues... missing driver... lens threads needing
re-threading... please tell me I made the wrong assumption...  :'(

If that is the case... what is the thread tap size... and do you need me to send you a PM with my
PP transaction number... :-?

I think yours is going to be fine, with maybe the exception of the driver.

HEY! You can't be handing out industry secrets here!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: LOL you are correct.  It's 9mm x .5mm thread HOWEVER. you need a bottoming tap in this size and they DO NOT make them (that I've been able to find.  If you find one let me know.)  So the manufacturer makes these for me with a bottoming tap.

Have I understood correctly that you only sell barrels for 35$?

And barrels complete with driver, Clicky, o-ring, tailcaps, 2mm black rubber inserts solid core, glass lens for 55$?. So the only thing I need is the laser diodes and battery?
