Please send any replies to this ad via my E-mail address, which is;

fusedpulse@yahoo.com

I'm having some trouble sending/receiving PM's. Why, IDK, YET, Errrr !!!!!!

F/S, Fully assembled JAYROB MICRO-CHROME KIT. Built with loving care by one of the most accomplished laser builders (in my opinion) on this Forum. (Builders name is with-held, unless requested upon reply to this AD via my E-mail address.

This laser is one of the CROWN JEWELS of my collection & wouldn't be selling it if I didn't need the $$$ so badly. It has a TOTAL usage time of ~30 min's. on it.

It has the "HOT-OPTION" utilizing a 6 X diode, & I installed a 405nm. G-1 lens to make it even "HOTTER", lol. This is one GREAT BURNING LASER, & will cut black electrical tape like a hot knife through butter. It will also pop balloons, ignite flash-paper, & do all the tricks that a GOOD laser should be capable of handling !!!

Here is a copy/pasted link of JAYROBS Ad, so you can check out what it looks like, & what the "HOT-OPTION" entails. This laser is virtually in BRAND NEW condition, with no worn places, scratches, etc. Out-put is OVER 250mW. (I just tested it with my LASERBEE LPM, & with ~1/2 charged batteries, I got a PEAK reading of 260mW's @ 30 sec. & still climbing. If you have any other questions, please E-mail me at my above posted E-mail Address, or if you're lazy like me, here it is; fusedpulse@yahoo.com

Help out a new guy here? 6x = Red / 650nm? I"m guessing this is the case based on the output power alone, but wanted to confirm.

I thought Jayrob's "hot option" was just driver preset and installed with desired current. I think the 405-G1 is an extra add-on.

Didnt see it was the man himself's post above me :)

You are absolutely correct. I had to buy a 405nm G-1 lens to "UP-GRADE" the out-put on this sweet little gem, but it was well worth the increase in mW's that I received from installing it. Nice catch, & I'll edit the offending post accordingly. rob

Might want to add that in your thread title as well, as if one of jayrobs minichromes isn't already tempting enough :D If only there was a way I could rectify a laser budget with the wifey...

Doesn't your wife know it's not good to drive more then 3000 miles without changing out the flux capacitors. I'm pretty sure parts and labor run about $200.00 with a core charge. :p

I believe your right! I checked my service logs and they indeed needed to be serviced! The Micro Chrome is headed my way :)

Thanks Rob :beer:
