I miss you

Okay I have upgraded to an 8X laser so it is time to get rid of my beloved 6X GGH laser. This is a 240mW violet laser as built by Daquin. It is housed in the Jayrob CR2 knurled silver kit and includes all the extras...Custom focus tip, and Jayrob custom 405 lens. I will also include a rechargeable CR2 battery. This laser burns like a champ. I will try to post pics later but right now I am at work. I am looking for $200 shipped in the US.

240mw for a violet at $200 isnt that amazinly cheap or am I wrong?

It is cheap, but Yobresal is known to give very good deals, and this was built by Dave, one of the best builders here.

If my knowledge recalls correct the lower the wavelength the better it burns.
I was strongly considering to buy this Rayfoss
(200mw green 532nm for $150)
Violet is by far lower and is 405nm I believe?
Thus better burning and has 40mw more power than what I was for an extra $50.
Considering it is custom built by people that are "the best builders around" it sounds like a bloody amazing deal, I smell my christmas present!!?

Keep in mind the beam visibilty of the green laser is going to be far greater than that of the violet laser. The violet laser is cool for its buning power, its flourescing abilities, and it's beautiful violet spot. Also that green laser is not 200mW. I have bought many "200mW" lasers and none of them are ever 200mW (they may peak at 200mW) unless they are the large C-Mount driven more expensive lasers in which case will likely be a fair bit over 200mW. If you are looking for a reall 200mW green laser you are going to spend a least $250
